This gives visitors the best opportunities to see wildlife and the diversity of this amazing eco system. From rainforest to mangroves the scenery is spectacular. The Upper Daintree section from Daintree Village is especially popular for bird watching and departures from near the Daintree River Ferry Crossing (Daintree Gateway) offers spectacular views of Thornton Peak, rainforest and mangroves.
Please note your first cruise will depart from Daintree Village, Check-in is at Daintree Tourist Information Centre located in Daintree Village. Times listed above are from Daintree Village Only. All extra bonus cruises can depart from either Daintree Village or from near Daintree Ferry river crossing. Look for the big Croc Head Kiosk. Cruise times available from near the ferry will be advised on check-in in the village.

Loved it! - We just about saw one crocodile but it was still a fantastic experience - the views were breathtaking, Neil our guide took us round a few times to see if we could see any other crocs, and the facts were super interesting. So glad we booked on and would absolutely do it again … thanks to Neil!!

Amaxing - Great river cruises with a very knowledgeable guide. Kids asked lots of questions and we learnt heaps. We saw 5 crocodiles!

Gotta do this - The boat captain Jed was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. It was a relaxing cruise and so beautiful. We did both the cruises and had a fantastic trip.

Awesome experience - Excellent cruise. Get a ticket and take both the upstream and downstream cruise. Great commentary on the cruise. Worth the money.

Great Tours - Very knowledgeable guides with passion about the environment. They shared much interesting stories and information about the river and it's environment and history. If I was to return in the future I'd definitely revisit

Excellent cruises - Great value trips. Knowledgeable and friendly guides and so much to see - bird, snakes, frogs and, of course, crocodiles. Good to get to see the river above Daintree, and then the mangroves too.

Great cruise - Great cruise with a very knowledgeable guide. Nice small boat - this makes it easy for all to see the wildlife. Definitely worth the price. Can only be recommended.

Wonderful tour seeing crocs, birds and tree snakes! - We absolutely loved this tour. Very relaxed environment. Very informative. Lots of beautiful wildlife to see. And much to our kids delight, the first croc was spotted 30 seconds into the trip. Also saw snakes in trees.
