We’re setting off to explore two lesser-known wonders. You’ll get a chance to journey into the heartland and experience the authentic Senegal with its iconic millennium-old trees - The Baobabs. These were once used as burial sites for narrators until 1961. Within the Reserve, you’ll encounter a Baobab graveyard, complete with skulls and bones. Witness the genuine side of Africa, with bush taxis and locals in traditional outfits. Moreover, while in Bandia, aboard a 4WD designed specifically for a Game Drive Safari, you’ll be amidst the African grasslands, observing animals such as giraffes, hyenas, impalas, derby and Cap elands, zebras, horse antelopes, the grand kudu, the rhinoceros, and more. Our journey takes us next to the Pink Lake, the historical finishing line of the Dakar Rally. Witness the activities of salt gatherers and take a jeep ride around the dunes and beach, following the former Rally track. The lake’s salinity is ten times that of the ocean, and its pink coloration is a gift from the sun.
