Perfect tour - Perfect service! It was raining heavily in the morning but the shuttle still came almost fully punctual. Then, we could catch the ship very precisely, already with the Guide. We had some good time and music and view at the Port, then valuable time at the Island! With Abdou I felt myself fully safe, however I am a backpacker tourist, traveling alone. He very diplomatically handled some of the locals on behalf of me, where I felt they are a bit more pushy than needful while wanted to sell all their stuff. :) Besides, nobody was aggressive to us at all, so, the scenery may be a bit misleading. It was a rushy tour a bit but by purpose, I call it rather as a good time management, to wait for my plane later instead of missing that... Both Abdou and the driver know what they are doing and despite their young age they have a big experience, routine to handle situations, people... We visited the prison (the famous chambers of the slaves) , learnt about the sad history, then went up to the highest peak of the island with a huge remembrance of defence, discovered some local, narrow streets, the main square with the freedom statue and interacted with a few locals. Abdou was letting me to decide what and when I want to go, etc. I hesitated to go to the museum and he was not pushy neither at that point. We rather had a 30 mins chat at the harbor and learnt from a local how to play calabash and even bought one. Abdou and the driver spoke good level of English too, not only native French. I recommend this reliable Team for anyone on a few hours layover, for lone travelers too. Let it rain or snow (just kidding), you may count on them.

Visit to Goree Island - I had a great time and found the company to be very reliable. The driver and tour guide met me at my hotel early and the guide was very knowledgeable about the Island. Do be prepared to be asked to purchase items at the market.

Wonderful sea views and beautiful greenary amongst a sad past - Goree island is such a beautiful wonderful place although historically it is very sad. I had such a wonderful time thanks to our tour guide bailo diallo who grew up on the island he walked us through everything and told us everything we needed to know. I dont think people who are not senegalese should be living there though as holiday/retreat homes that was a bit odd to me but westerners do odd things

Excellent services and excellent tour - What an amazing trip - I really thoroughly valued the trip to this important island. The team was warm, friendly, on time and everything was well planned. I would really recommend the trip and their tours to anyone in Dakar. It was a once in a lifetime for me and I made the right decision to go with the very well informed and respectful tour guide.

Dakar & Goree Island Tour - Unfortunately this tour was cancelled. however the Tour Guide contacted us Three Days in advance of the Tour Date, which gave us enough time to make other arrangements. Very Professional.

My tour of Goree island was fulfilling - The people are friendly and humble. Some one who cannot speak French may find it difficult in most places. Staying at Goree island overnight was interesting. Nice Lodging, quite environment. My tour of Goree island including the slave house was fulfilling to look back into the past.

Very unorganized and... - Very unorganized and overpriced - nobody told us we needed a passport to enter the ferry. we only saw one part of the island and were not taken to the historical museum of Senegal.

Overpriced. Do this yourself for $20 - The two of us paid close to $300 for something that could have cost us $40 total. There’s loads of guides on the island and ferry tickets are like $5. Considering the guides time and transport, a fair price for this would have been $50 each + there was an expectation to tip, which is insane given the mark up. The island is interesting but you only need 1-2 hours to do it all. The merchants are super aggressive and it’s unpleasant. Our guide was perfectly nice, but this wasn’t worth it.
