Highlights
  • Linh Phuoc Pagoda - Linh Phuoc Temple (Vietnamese: Chùa Linh Phuoc, Chữ Hán: 青福寺, IPA: [tʁˈʁûəː lɪn fwəˌkː]), also known as Ve Chai Temple, is located at No. 120 Tu Phuoc, Trai Mat District, Vietnam, 8 km from Da Lat city center, on Highway 20. The 49-meter-long dragon temple is made of 12,000 bottles; the dragon’s head is 7 metres high. Linh Phuoc Pagoda is considered a special architectural mosaic of Da Lat city.
The 33 m long and 12-metre wide main hall features 2 rows of cobblestone mosaics. On top of it are many mosaic bas-reliefs featuring the history of Shakyamuni and the histories of the Lotus Sutras. The temple grounds (Hoa Long Vien) have a dragon of length 49 m, the dragon enclosure is made of 12,000 beer bottles, and the dragon mouth covers the Maitreya Buddha. In front of the temple grounds is a 37 m high seven-storeyed tower, which is considered the highest temple bell tower in Vietnam.
  • Datanla Waterfall - Datanla Waterfall is a very nice waterfall, located in the middle of Prenn Pass about 5km south of Da Lat city center. Here you will be blessed with wild nature, experience the feeling of joining in an alpine coaster Along the pine forest and flowers here.

Datanla Waterfall is a small waterfall pouring from a rocky cliff about 20m high into a deep pool, creating a romantic and dreamy scene.
The thing that distinguishes Datanla Falls from the other waterfalls is its unique alpine coaster. With a total length of 2400 meters, this system is the longest roller coaster in Vietnam as well as in Southeast Asia. The alpine coaster would take you through the pine forest to enjoy the beauty of the falls from above

  • Tuyen Lam Lake - Tuyen Lam Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Da Lat with an area of 350 hectares. The mother of nature is affectionate towards Tuyen Lam Lake with a majestic wild beauty that not all lakes have. Tuyen Lam Lake is surrounded by the tranquil lush green pine forest which all year round sends a gleam to the crystal-clear water. What makes Tuyen Lam Lake different from the other lakes in Da Lat is the oases around the lake, which look like verdant plates covered by pine trees and magnificent mist. Watching the green of the forest lushly blended with the blue of the lake, you would have a feeling of relaxation as if you get lost in a wonderland.

  • Thien Vien Truc Lam - On the way to Tuyen Lam Lake, tourists have to run right onto a zigzagging road at the mountain side to Phoenix Summit, on which stands beautiful famous Truc Lam Zen Monastery in an open poetic natural environment.

Historical records of Truc Lam Zen Monastery

Established in special social conditions, with the aim of restoring Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen School founded by the King Tran Thanh Tong, this Zen school has harmoniously combined different Zen schools with Vietnamese cultural and tradition into Vietnamese Zen. Truc Lam Zen Monastery lies on a protected forest of 23,2 hectares, of which 2 hectares is the building area.
The pagoda was built in 1993 – 1994 by superior Buddhist monk Thich Thanh tu and it was designed with the oriental architecture style. With the beautiful landscapes, the pagoda is not only a place for meditation but also an ideal place for visiting.

  • Dalat Railway Station - Dalat station (Vietnamese: Ga Đà Lạt) is a railway station on the Da Lat–Thap Cham Railway line in Vietnam, serving the town of Da Lat in Lâm Đồng Province. It was designed in 1932 by French architects Moncet and Reveron, and opened in 1938. Largely unused since abandonment of the railway during the later years of the Vietnam War, it was returned to a limited level of service in the 1990s with the reopening of a 7 km (4.3 mi) section of track leading to the nearby village of Trai Mat, operated as a tourist attraction. It is notable for its unique architectural style, which incorporates an overall Art Deco theme with elements of native Cao Nguyen communal houses from Vietnam’s Central Highlands.
  • Xuan Huong Lake - Xuan Huong Lake has an area of 32 ha and the average depth of 1.5m. It is located on an elevation of 1.478m above sea level and it is considered as the heart of Dalat.

Would recommend this trip. - What a great day out. We enjoyed all the stops and had sufficient time in each. Also it’s a special mention to the Cresta Run (rollercoaster) at the waterfall, great fun. Dalat is down for a return visit as the highlands are stunning. We were also fortunate to have such an excellent guide/driver in Dragon. He was friendly, knowledgeable and a great photographer! He gave us loads of background information and was always able to answer my many questions. We had bad weather going back over the mountain pass and it was dark but we felt very safe with Dragon driving. We were dropped back at our hotel after having had a marvellous day out.

Good memory in Dalat with a professional driver - We joined a private day trip to Dalat, Dragon is our driver and tour guide. We had a wonderful time in Dalat, and our guide Dragon is a very professional driver and guide. He showed us the places in Dalat that are worthwhile to pay a visit and his experience and knowledge are very knowledgeable. He also took us to a good place for tasting the local food - Bun Bo Hue and Dalat pizza. Those local food are very tasty. Thank you Dragon for showing us the great places and we would like to recommend this tour guide to anyone who would like to visit Dalat.

Excellent - We had a wonderful day with Mr Long he's a great host & spoke good English; we had many stops & info first one being a traditional Vietnamese village that he dropped us off to walk through & met us at the other end. Then onto Dalat a 2hour drive through mountains, waterfalls, clouds & villages; on arriving in Dalat he asked us if we wanted traditional Vietnamese meal for lunch & organised it for us at a local eatery (we paid separately). He then drove us around Dalat to the cable car (also separate cost but we'll worth it) & was waiting for us at the base with a walk around the gardens then onto Datanla Falls, Dalat railway station & Linh Phuoc Pagoda. We felt the day was very personalised & would highly recommend. :)
