An incredible experience! - This was an amazing experience! The hike up was tough, but doable. The guides stopped often to rest. You are in the shade for the hike with a nice breeze. The ziplines were great with an incredible view. But the waterfalls were the best! You can jump, slide or walk down the falls. The water is amazing and refreshing. Our guides were by far the best we've ever had. Alex was our group leader. All of them were so friendly and were a blast to be with. They took so many pictures of us with our camera. The buffet for lunch was really good and filling. I would do it again and again!

Awesome excursion at Dominican Republic. Book this!! - We did this excursion today and it was awesome!! Great time! Alexander was our tour guide and was so kind and helpful and fun! We paid extra and got Samual as our personal photographer during the whole time. He took amazing photos and we will now cherish these memories forever! I would definitely do this again! We did the ziplines first which was nice to be dry and then get wet after. I was brave and jumped from the 14 foot platform and the 18 foot platform into the cool river below even though I was really scared inside! Once in a lifetime adventure!!!!

Amazing Waterfalls/Zip Lines Tour - Just got back from a long cruise and we booked this amazing excursion through Iguana Mama. The entire experience was incredible and my family had an awesome time. Carlos and Fernando were our guide and driver. From booking the excursion, to picking us up at the port, transportation to and from and the waterfalls/zip lines - everything was smooth and wonderful. Our guides ended up feeling like family by the time we were done. Best experience!!

Great Experience and Beautiful Scenery - Awesome experience doing the waterfalls and zip lines. I was nervous but our guide, Raul, made me feel confident and safe. Juan was awesome too. I highly recommend this if you want to see beautiful natural scenery and have a blast too. By the way, we finished up with lunch. We had the best spaghetti we have ever had!

INCREDIBLE excursion out of Amber Cove. - We were looking forward to the waterfall excursion out of Amber Cover (sailed on Princess Cruise Line's Sky Princess.) To say Iguana Mama overdelivered is an understatement. We had an amazing time! We met out driver and main tour guide Raul outside the main gate of Amber cove and it was a relatively quick ride to the Falls with Raul entertaining the whole group while in the air conditioned van. Once at the base camp of the Falls we were given a lifejacket and helmet before our journey up the mountain. The climb up the mountain wasn't too bad at all, especially with multiple rest breaks along the long way. For the zip line experience we were joined by two zip line experts. The five zip lines were fun, with one very long one and another that was a bit faster than the others. Being that high up while zip lining across nature was certainly something else! At our last zip line, we immediately went straight to jumping into the Falls and taking water way down through a series of jumps and rock slides. The water was so refreshing after the climb up the mountain and doing the zip lines! This part of the excursion was a true highlight. I had watched videos online of this experience and it looked awful being in large groups of 100 or more. Our personal group was a total of 6 people and we were joined with another group of about 20. This was totally different than the videos I had watched and was absolutely fantastic. Several large jumps into the water and several fast rock slides as well. Just terrific and our tour guide Raul was 10 stars for this part of the journey. After we walked back to base camp we had a stop at the bar for a Dominican lunch and this was possibly the best included lunch we've had on ANY Caribbean island that we have been to over the years. Another case of over delivering in a major way. Lots of options for the vegetarians/vegans in the group along (including fried eggplant) with tasty meats for everyone else. Sodas were included and this was actually the only day on our 7 day sailing where I got to have Coke Zero (my preferred drink of choice back in the States.) You could also purchase drinks at the bar and I was able to pick up a bottle of Presidente beer. I try to pick up a bottle of local beer at all the islands we go to. EXTREMELY recommended!! Looking forward to going back to Amber Cove in the future and would love to use Iguana Mama again.

Carlos is the best, amazing time! - We booked the Damajagua Waterfalls with 5 zip line package with Iguana Mama. I read all the reviews beforehand and read amazing things about others’ experience. We loved our tour guide Carlos and we had an amazing experience with him! The buffet lunch included was delicious, and we had extra time to spend for shopping and guided sight-seeing with him. Loved booking a private tour as we were the first ones there ahead of all the cruise ship tour groups and we beat the crowds! Highly recommend.

Fun for the whole family!! - Staff was SUPER helpful and kind — made us all feel safe. Ages 13-33 and we each had a blast! We even got to jump off the waterfalls (while the cruise ship tour following us could only slide down at those spots). Highly, highly recommend.

Crowded but lots of fun - We went with an outside company other then the cruise excursions because we were told that we would get to the falls before the cruise crowds. However, it was still very crowded and a long line down all the falls and zip lines. We still had a great time but we just expected it to be a little different crowd wise. The food after the excursion was just ok. We were served rum and coke on the way back to Port which was great. Our guide Carlos was amazing and funny. They also provide a personal photographer for a small fee so you don't have to worry about losing your camera or phone on the falls.
