Awesome tour....and she said I'm handsome!! - Started very early, met us in Shangra La lobby, and beat all traffic, and beat all the crowds. Lin picked all the good spots, and even called me handsome, said I look like Tom Cruise. That made my day, but bring good walking shoes and get plenty of sleep the night before. Had a great time, and will recommend to all my friends, which is only 3 now, but I hope knowing I look like Tom Cruise, I'll find more. Thanks again, for making our short private Bangkok tour memorable. Thanks, Paul!!

Visited Maeklong Railway Market & Damnoen Saduak Floating Market - We had an early tour on Monday to beat the morning commute. Our tour guide Tip was the best. First, she took us to the train station outside of Bangkok. We visited a field where salt was made near the train station. She offered us drinks at a local store before the train arrived. Train ride was ok until we made it to the Maeklong Railway Market. As we pulled into the station, we were greeted by so many people like we were rock stars. We got a coconut drink and some fruits. Then we headed to a place where they made coconut sugar. We then proceeded to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Tip took us to a floating market that wasn't too busy. It was an amazing experience. We made a quick stop at Chang Puak Camp to ride the elephant since we were early heading back to the hotel. I would recommend this trip to my family & friends.

Go with a “Private Tour” over the big tour and ask for Lin and Kevin (-: - Our Railway and Floating Markets - Private Tour was amazing! We saw a few larger group tours and we were extremely happy with our choice to hire Lin (Tour Guide) and Kevin (Driver). Lin was extremely knowledgeable and shared history and background on our Tour and Kevin was way more than just a driver! We did the Railway Market Tour first and that was an experience that everyone should have at least once in your life. Everyone is waving and high fiving you as your train rolls thru the Market (TIP: stay behind the red line and put your toes on the line). Next is the Salt Farms - yes there are “farms” to produce salt. Never knew how salt was produced and this is one of the ways. Interesting to say the least. Next up was the Coconut Tour - you will learn so much about Coconuts on this tour AND you will also climb a bamboo “ladder” All I can say is trust it! Finally the Floating Market and the long boat tour. It was interesting and another experience to have with Lin! Needless to say we had a great experience with Lin and Kevin and it was perfect! Highly recommended and tip of the day; go with the Private Tour!

Amazing day with Lin and Kevin at the railway market and floating market. - What an absolutely amazing and interesting day! We. were so lucky to have Lin as our guide and Kevin as our driver. They were both so kind, friendly and engaged and went above and beyond to make sure we felt well taken care of and had the best day. Lin took so many great pictures of us which was an added bonus for sure! There was not one thing about our day that I would change. I would highly recommend anyone looking at doing the floating market and railway market to splurge and hire a private guide. We were able to see and do so much and although it's touristy, it was all so fascinating and enjoyable. Besides the railway market and the floating market, we were able to spend time at a salt farm and a coconut sugar farm. There was no taking you to someone's cousins store and pressuring you to buy souvenirs which I loved. It was so worth the extra money to have a private guide and it will certainly be a day we will always remember. I laughed and smiled so much my face is tired!

Fantastic tour! - The tour was fantastic! Lin was professional and friendly. She went above and beyond to take photos so we could remember the amazing day. Her English is also great, so she was able to explain all aspects of the day to us and answer our questions. Kevin, the driver, was also really great. I was worried that I’d be carsick because some of the Grab rides weren’t so smooth, but he drove carefully and made the ride really comfortable. The two of them make a great team!
