Dendera, Most beautiful Temple in Egypt - We had an amazing experience with our guide, Khaled. His knowledge of the Dendera Temple and Egyptian history made this tour one we will never forget. The vibrant blues of this temple are a feast for the eyes that we will remember always! We highly recommend booking with Khaled! He deserves Six Stars!!!

Great tour - Hathor Temple is beautiful. Definitely worth seeing. Takes about 75 minutes from Luxor but the drive through the countryside is nice, you’ll see lots of nice rustic villages and farms. Trip logistics were good and both tour guide and driver were great.

The most beautiful temple enhanced by the story telling skill of Mohsen AKA Pharaoh Akenathon - Having free time after our hot air balloon experience, we decided to go to Dendera temple from Luxor. This was upon the recommendation of our guide from the day before, Mohsen (who could easily claim ancestry from rhe line of Pharaoh Akenathon) who said that this temple dedicated to the goddess Hathor cannot be missed. How right he was. The well preserved interior perfectly gave us an idea of the level of expertise, craftsmanship and skill of the temple builders. But more importantly, we got to find and understand the significant portions of the images and hieroglyphs carved onto the walls through the expert knowledge and story telling skill of Mohsen. While the sight itself is beautiful, it has been grestly enhanced by our guide Mohsen who gave meaning to everything we see around the place. I also appreciated how engaging he is about modern Egyptian life as much as he is about the ancient one. His patience in answering my questions about culture, family and spirituality are truly insightful and shows his great skill as a guide and companion around Luxor and it’s sights.

Fantastic tour with Mohsen as our great guide - We had a lovely tour of the temple with Mohsen as our guide. He is absolutely fluent in English and gave interesting and relevant background to the temple and its gods, along with walking us through the stories shown on the walls when we were there. The temple is one of the best I have seen in Egypt, it is well worth the trip from Luxor. I can’t recommend Mohsen enough, he was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable.

Dendara Temple visit - Khaled was our guide again for this visit to Dendera Temple. He organised everything for us. Khaled gave us lots of history, and answered all of our questions. He showed us around, then gave us time to take as many photographs as we wished. Khaled is an excellent guide, who speaks brilliant English, really knows his Egyptian history, enjoys what he does, and is good humoured. We stopped of at a restaurant after the visit where we we're made very welcome and the food was excellent. Again, we can't say enough positive things about our experiences in Egypt. We've loved this holiday, and it's been one of our best. We'd highly recommend this trip and are grateful for the experience. Thankyou Paul and Julie

Dandarah half day private tour, Medinet Habu private tour, and Howard Carter Museum visit - We enjoyed our private tours with Khaled so much we decided to book more for the next day. Khaled recommend we visit Dandarah Temple first. Again, we'll worth a visit. He guided us around, gave us a detailed explanation of the temple's history, and knew where to go first to avoid the crowds. He then gave us time to wander at our leisure and take a lot of photographs, which my Wife loves to do. This was followed by the trip back to Luxor and lunch at a restaurant Khaled uses often. The hospitality and food we're fantastic. We we're then taken to and guided around Medinet Habu Temple. This has some of the best preserved colourful columns, walls and ceilings. Finally we visited the Howard Carter House, which has been preserved with the original furniture, drawings and paintings by Carter himself. Again we'd highly recommend these. The tours we have done the past two days have been the first time we have ever had a private tour guide, and Khaled has become a friend over these two days. We've been very fortunate to have him as our guide. We are so grateful, and highly recommend using Reflections tours, and Khaled for making our holiday one of the best we've had. Thankyou Paul and Julie

Awful experience! 🥵 - It was an awful experience with our tour guide Khaled. When you book this tour, it is planned to last approximately five hours, with THREE OF THEM AT THE DENDERA TEMPLE. However, we could only stay roughly one hour and ten minutes! This included thirty minutes of explanation and thirty minutes of free time, because instead of the one-hour drive from Luxor to the temple, it took us two hours to get there. Khaled then rushed us to visit the temple in just one hour, claiming that traffic was a bit heavy and we needed to return to Luxor on time. I mean, paying for a private tour to spend three hours at this amazing once-in-a-lifetime temple and being rushed to see it in only one hour was one of the worst experiences we had in Egypt. We were running around to take photos and videos, and unfortunately, we regretted booking this tour with this agency too late. That said, we did book another tour with the same agency yesterday, and it was an amazing experience with our guide, Mohsen. It's really disappointing that your experience depends so heavily on the guide, as the agency seems to lack quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction for first-time visitors to Egypt. I strongly recommend booking with a private taxi or a different company. Don't let your visit to this magnificent temple be ruined! Actually, we just got back to our hotel in Luxor after completing exactly four hours and twenty minutes of the tour. They managed to finish it as quickly as possible, in less than five hours.
