Great tour and company - We did the Cockscomb Jaguar reserve hike with the river tubing addition. Alden picked us up on time, he was very chilled and friendly. He gave us the history of the reserve and knowledgable at each stage of the tour. He spotted wildlife that we didn’t even see, he was always on the look out. He also got us some local tomalis to try that were great from the Mayan village outside of the reserve. The river tubing was a lot of fun and very idillic. There were some gentle rapids but nothing you can’t navigate. There has been some rain overnight so make sure you wear appropriate footwear as the paths can get muddy. You will need to be of reasonable physical fitness to manage the trail but worth it to get the the waterfall We didn’t see much wildlife throughout the tour. This is a sanctuary so the animals are roaming and a lot of them are nocturnal. We enjoyed searching for them and we saw tapir and jaguar tracks. If you want guaranteed wildlife then you will need to go to the zoo, I think the conservation work they are doing is far more important and they are doing a special job keeping the habitat of the jaguars and other animals protected. The booking process and communication was great, I wouldn’t hesitate to book another tour with Get to know Belize Adventures.
