Dar es Salaam - Early morning pick up from the hotel in Dar es Salaam and drive to Mikumi for a full day of extraordinary wildlife viewing. Plan on being on the road by 6:00 am in order to arrive at the gate in time for a half-day of wildlife viewing.

Uluguru Mountains - You will first stop by the growing town of Morogoro, set beside the Uluguru Mountains, where you will have a good view of the mountains and having Lunch before continuing on to Mikumi National Park.

Mikumi National Park - Mikumi plays a critical role as part of a greater ecosystem with the Selous Game Reserve.

It’s common to see gazelle, wildebeest, giraffes, elephants, and many other iconic African animals, including lions.

Mikumi National Park - Enjoy the songs of birds as you rise with the dawn and prepare for an early morning safari. After an early breakfast at your camp site.

Dar es Salaam - You will head out to search for predators on the hunt and follow other movements of wild animals in the morning when many are the most active.

After enjoying the final moments of your morning safari, you will head back to Dar-es-Salaam, where we can transfer you to your hotel or another location as needed. Enjoy Tanzania’s wonders and the rest of your stay!
