Super organized safari, top! - We took the option with plane departure from Zanzibar via Dar el Salam return, for 2 days in Mikumi Park. On arrival in Dar el Salam, our driver was there waiting for us. The transfer is quite long (5 hours), a lunch break is planned on the road, arrived at the park, our driver (NICO) was there, very friendly, professional, always looking for the best viewing spot (seen elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wild dogs, hypopos, crocs, etc...), in the evening we stayed in a small lodge (shower, toilet, comfort ok). Restaurant on site for dinner and breakfast in the morning. Departure at 7:45 a.m. to visit the park, and return by road at 11:30 a.m., arriving at the airport at 7 p.m. to catch our plane. Thanks to our driver who drove carefully in km of truck queues, who knew how to be cunning and take shortcuts! Sylver sky travel is an agency that keeps promises, thanks to LODRICK with whom I organized the transfers and plane tickets, by WhatsApp. Only downside, if I had to do it again, take the option with direct landing in the park, faster and less tiring Great 2 day stay!

2 days Mikumi with Frank - Everything was just right, Frank organized everything really well, it was the best result, a great adventure in Mikumi Safari National Park. I can only recommend it. Best wishes Waldemar and Adriana

An awesome family safari - the children loved it!!! - A great experience for the whole family. The staff were wonderful and 2 days is probably just right for a young family. There was a lot of driving involved from Dar Es Salaam to the park and a flight may have been better. If my maths is correct, we saw 4 of the big 5, with many highlights including seeing Lionesses feed in the morning - we also saw a Zebra crossing the road (pun intended!!!). The hotel and food was also more than adequate - definitely a great family safari experience!

Excellent service & communication - Had an amazing time, we got to see a variety of animals, our driver was great and the food too. If you are flying from Zanzibar and driving to the national park, you need a minimum of two days.

The best ever - From start to finish, it was amazing! I cannot thank our guide, Ramadan, enough. He catered to our every need and went out of his way to make our fabulous safari even more memorable by explaining the habitat of the animals, the culture of the lovely people of Tanzania. From start to finish he treated us like family. I highly recommend this safari.

Our 2 days in Makumi - We loved our safari! Rama was a fantastic guide, we couldn’t have asked for more. The whole process was simple from start to finish, our flights from Zanzibar to the mainland were booked for us and our driver, Rama, met us at the airport. We stopped on the way to Mikumi for lunch as it is a long drive. The food at our lunch stop on the way was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Camp Bastian lodge where we spent the night was beautiful. Again the staff went out of their way to welcome us. The beds were so comfy, I didn’t want to get up! There was plenty of hot water and a nice powerful shower. I am a mosquito magnet so was pleased to see bednets on all of the beds too. We were lucky enough to see lots of animals on our game drives, we managed to tick off most of our wish list during the first game drive! The drive the next morning was even more special as the animals were so close to us. As we visited during the rainy season, the safari wouldn’t have been complete without the jeep getting stuck in the mud 😂 it has happened to us on each safari we have done! Rama handled it with laughter and professionalism and we were soon on our way. I can’t recommend this safari enough - do it!

Brilliant Safari - We had a fantastic trip. The absolute highlight was being so close to the animals. Elephants walked right by our vehicle and we saw 8 lions really close too. We even glimpsed a leopard hidden in a tree. Rama our guide was so kind and friendly and hugely knowledable. He made it a brilliant trip. The journey from Dar es salaam is long but Rama was such good company it was enjoyable too. The number of giraffes, elephants, zebra and impala is amazing.

Very nice restaurant just of the Jamaa fanaa square. - No views but nice ambience. Drinks ok (alcohol served) first food wasn’t great they changed it and we had tagine instead which was very good. Cocktails in the bar are very good. Worth a visit
