DAR ES SALAAM – MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK

Mikumi National Park - Depart at 1200 Hours in Dar es Salaam with our guide drive to Mikumi National Park which is approximately 5 hours’ drive from Dar es Salaam. You will have hot lunch at Morogoro Town the proceeding drive to Mikumi evening game drive you will have the opportunity to spot lions, cheetahs or leopards, Elephant, zebra, buffalo’s, hippos and other more. Later we will transfer you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

MIKUMI - UDZUNGWA MOUNTAINS

Udzungwa Mountains National Park - After early breakfast, go for a sunrise game drive in Mikumi National Park, Then with picnic lunch drive to Udzungwa national park, meet a guide and proceed for trekking.
Udzungwa is a magnet for hikers. An excellent network of forest trails includes the popular half-day ramble to Sanje Waterfall, which plunges 170 metres (550 feet) through a misty spray into the forested valley below. From there you will see a view of Kilombero Valley from 180 meters.
Our guide will take you around there, later transfer back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

MIKUMI FULL DAY GAME DRIVE

Mikumi National Park - Today you will spend the whole day inside Mikumi National Park. After breakfast full day game drive in the park, see the beauty of Mikumi national Park, see many animals like Elephant, Giraffe, wild dogs, Lions, Antelopes and many more. Our guides will have more time to take you to interior parts of this park looking for animals that are difficult to spot. Later transfer to your lodge for Dinner and overnight at your lodge

MIKUMI - DAR ES SALAAM

Mikumi National Park - Early morning sunrise game drive and will lead you to see remarkable numbers of bird’s species and animals. You will also have the chance to see animals hunting in the park. Later you will be transfered back to your lodge for breakfast, after breakfast. Later we will stop at Maasani boma on the way back to Dar es
Salaam, stop at Morogoro town for your lunch proceeding to dare s salaam

The main allure for most visitors to Mikumi National Park is the ‘Big Five’ - cheetah, lion, elephant, buffalo, and rhino, and they rarely leave disappointed. The hippo pools offer a closer interaction with these mud-dwelling creatures, and bird enthusiasts find the bird-watching along the waterways especially pleasurable.
Udzungwa, the largest and most biodiverse, is a string of large forests enveloped mountains that spectacularly rise from the flat coastal scrub of eastern Tanzania. Collectively known as the Eastern Arc Mountains, this secluded collection of massifs is also referred to as the African Galapagos due to its rich array of endemic plants and animals, with the delicate African violet being the most probably known.
