Additional Information

It’s thought that Ruaha has a higher density of elephants than any other national park in East Africa. It serves as a haven for admirable mammals such as the Greater and Lesser Kudu, Sable and Roan antelopes, which can be readily observed in the Miombo woodland. The male Kudu are recognized for their splendid spiraled horns, whereas the male Sable antelope have striking curved horns. The endangered wild dogs also find a home in this park. The park’s animal population also boasts lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, elands, impalas, bat-eared foxes, and Jackals.

Perfect luxury safari on a budget with amazing animal viewings - We went on a 2 night 3 day safari to Ruaha and it was amazing! We had a great game drive where we saw many animals and even found a family of lions that were hidden and difficult to spot at first. We also saw a lion from very close by, about 2 meters! We were able to learn a lot about all the different animals thanks to the good knowledge of our guide. Benson had everything planned out perfectly so we didn't need to worry about the logistics of the safari. He arranged very beautiful accommodation for us with good food and a beautiful sunrise in the morning. All of this was for a very affordable price, especially as we are still studying. Thanks Benson for making a party of our safari weekend and teaching us to sing the Swahili songs! We had great fun :)
