A must do! - Clear commentary. Darwin has lots of interesting places to visit, might have been better to get a 2 day pass. Great sitting up top undercover with the breeze.

Great first impressions of Darwin city. - Enjoy the Hop on bus in Darwin. Great way to get a first look of the city and areas you may wish to investigate further. Loved the commentary….it was interesting but very funny too. Saved my poor legs and got us from the cruise ship and back again safely. Highly recommend. Tickets can be bought from driver.

Highly recommended to see the highlights of Darwin. - Excellent way to get around Darwin and get your bearings for the rest of your stay. Stops at heaps of the tourist spots and points of interest. We visited the Art Gallery and Military Museam using the bus, and revisited other areas on other days as you don't have time to do them all in a day.

Darwin or bust! - Excellent excursion if you are on a cruise ship and visiting for the day - or longer. They brought in extra buses to accommodate the crowd. Great overview of the area and a wonderful stop at the Museum & Arts Gallery of the Northern Territory (free! but worthy of a donation), where you get to meet "Sweetheart". Great displays of the native wildlife; I never have seen such huge and beautiful seashells!

Top Marks for the Darwin Hop On, Hop Off Big Bus - I chose to buy the 48 hour bus ticket and bought my senior’s ticket from the Booth at Stop One. The driver was super helpful explaining the options when I was deciding on my purchase and recommended the purchase of tickets for attractions I planned to visit over the two days. This proved to be a great choice as the line up to purchase tickets at some of the attractions was quite long. Every driver was courteous and readily provided assistance to those requiring help to enter or exit the bus. They also clearly explained the times for pick up, drop off and location even though the brochure clearly displayed the timetable. On the first morning a heavy shower saturated the top level seats so the driver quickly provided a chamois and the seats were soon dry, ready for departure. Up top there was a great view and often a cooling breeze which was most welcome. Downstairs was very popular as it was air conditioned, a must on 36 degrees days. The bus is great value, takes you to the major sites, and even provides a 5pm service on Thursday evenings to the Mindil Beach Markets. The commentary was interesting, informative and often presented with Top End humour. I’d highly recommend taking the bus if you don’t have your own transport or would prefer just to sit back and relax.

Easy to use from Darwin cruise harbour. - We were happy to get on - right at the cruise harbour and then to military museum on the morning bus instead of separate bus as brochure said. . Such hot and humid weather. Suggestion for future- have tents for shade at cruise harbour. Also - make 2 lines - priority boarding for us who had tickets. We had to wait in the heat for people to buy tickets from driver.

Excellent service that... - Excellent service that covered all points of interest around the Darwin and suburban area. My one issue is the condition of some of the buses which featured either no air conditioning or ineffective air conditioning (in hot humid conditions in March) and in some, loud engine noise and jerky transmissions.
