An excellent day trip to Kakadu national park - If you are in Darwin and short for time, then this one day trip is an excellent taster for Kakadu and the surrounding wilderness. It's a long day, so be prepared for this but you already know that Australia is no small country. Our tour consisted of 10 people hosted by our guide Bec. The small 20 seater coach was comfortable, air conditioned and each person had 2 seats to themselves. Along the journey there's lots of wildlife and fauna to see and our guide Bec was very knowledgeable and informative providing a very good commentary along the way and return journey. We stopped at various sites at Kakadu and enjoyed seeing beautiful landscapes as well as aboriginal art on rocks. Plenty of wildlife to be seen, crocodiles, wild buffalo, wallabies, a solitary dingo and an array of bird species. We never felt rushed during the stops at the various locations and our tour guide certainly took good care of us and was never short of providing informative information which made the day extra enjoyable. All in all a very good day out and this trip is highly recommended.

Great day out - Really enjoyed our day in Kakadu. Our guide Naomi was very knowledgable, friendly & attentive. The rock art was fascinating and the 360o viewpoint was amazing!! The Crocodile River Cruise was also very good. Although it was a very hot and long day I would recommend it.

Must-see Kakadu. - A fabulous day hosted safely and competently by Becs - with lots of great stories, facts and education along the way. Plenty of stops and educational breaks to split up the long trip. The rock-art must be seen up close to truly appreciate. Bianca helped for a short part of the trip but wasn’t as good as Becs.

Experience Not to Miss - A day not to miss. Starting with the jumping crocodile tour Damo and Shano were A comedy act not to be missed, keeping us just as entertained as the jumping crocodiles. Our guide Dani happily shared her deep knowledge of land and culture with traditional and personal stories, giving us a glimpse of life in and around Kakadu. The scenery was breathtaking and the rock art gave us a glimpse into the past. A day that will be remembered for a long time.

Interesting tour - The river cruise and croc feeding. The history and information about the indigenous people was very educational and intersting. It is a long tour so be prepared for along day of driving. My only complaint would be that the van was not very clean relative to other tours we have taken.

Very Good - No one thing stood out more than others. But a great day in Kakadu. All the usual suspects are there to see.

Great introduction to Kakadu - It's a long drive to see the sights and nothing much to see along the way but Tom our guide provided a running commentary that made the trip interesting. On our trip there were 2 major sites. The first was Fogg Dam where we sit did see brolga's jabiru buffalo and pigs but not many birds. They were a long way off and I was fortunate to have a telephoto lens to view them. On 2 Ubirr which was the highlight with impressive aboriginal paintings and great views from the summit of grasslands and ranges. We also saw several crocodiles and were lucky to visit a pub that had crocodile feeding. Tom was great but I think experience could be complemented by an aboriginal guide particularly at Ubirr.

Get a guide not a driver - Well, the itinerary looked excited and started off great with crocodile tour…look at them snappas!! Then Kakadu and the journey became fragmented. It turns out our guide was just a driver. He would drive us to various places and then start his guiding. After we would view something we turn and he’s gone. Turns out he was going ahead of the group to take his own pictures first. He would stand and snap at the best vantage point and we would have to queue behind him. If you could not keep up with his “speed guiding” you were out of luck. Oh , and if you are feeling bad from the heat, don’t count on this driver/guide turn to your fellow tourists. I wish the crocodile dudes could have come instead…true Aussie hosting and guiding!
