What a GREAT private tour of Taipei! Highly recommend. - Wow, what can I say! We had one last night in Taipei and decided to book the Private Night Tour of Taipei and we were DEFINITELY not disappointed. Our tour guide Hicks Wang was a Taipei native and was SO HAPPY and willing to share his expertise of one of the most beautiful cities we hav ever traveled. Hicks was kind, patient, and able to adjust the itinerary to fit our schedule as the night went on. His knowledge of every stop we made was impressive and when we were starving, he even took the time to share one of his favorite neighborhoods with us with a fantastic noodle restaurant that was perfect. Hicks was such a trooper and even picked ALL THE WAY up Elephant Mountain with us in the dark (and extreme heat) and never complained at all. He took great pictures and shared them right away so we had the memories to look back on. We loved this tour and HIGHLY recommend anyone going to Taipei for the first time – or a return trip – book this trip themselves so they can get some great history and views.

A Night in Taipei - Aaron was absolutely amazing! Very accommodating to what we were wanting to see and experience. We did not feel rushed and was able to experience our first night with ease. It was as if we knew him before we met him. Definitely recommend!

Highly recommend!!! - Our tour guide Chiao Chiao was amazing! She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited, and more than happy to answer all of our questions. She picked us up at our hotel right on time and her vehicle was super comfortable. She provided service above and beyond our expectations. We would highly recommend her if you are looking for a great introduction to the city. A++

Awesome evening - We had an awesome experience. We had visited several itinerary items already so we asked our driver to make up a good tour for us. He did a great job of coming up with an evening. We went to a Dao temple. His knowledge of the temple and the stories told in the tapestries and decorations was excellent. Then we went to an upscale shopping district. Finally he took us to the night market. While there he pointed out all the famous and highly rated food stalls.

Great tour! Great Tour guide - Overall great tour. The guide Cipher did amazing accommodating 4 children and 3 adults. She was very helpful and insightful at every spot. The van was equipped with water for all. Tour included Great local food locations.

Mr Hicks Wang - the best guide - Our private night tour of Taiwan was made even better because of our guide - Mr. Hicks Wang. He was jolly, good in the English language, and was also a good photographer. We felt safe the whole time we were with him.

Excellent tour! - We really enjoyed this tour! Our guide, Hicks, was great. He took good care of us and allowed us to take extra time when we wanted. We saw a lot more than we could possibly have done on our own. Private tours are so much better because we can move on the moment we want to and stay longer at our favorite sites. The night tour was a good choice. It's easier to walk around after the sun is down and it's cooler. Plus the city looks fantastic at night. We ran late and our guide didn't ask for any overtime. (We tipped well all the same) An excellent tour and an excellent guide!

Great experience! - We had a great time with an excellent tour guide! He took us to see terrific "touristy" sites, along with some "local flair" thrown in. Highly recommended!

Taipei night tour - The weather turned against us (very wet) and the Friday night travel slowed us down but our guide Ted did his best to show us the sites at night. The Elephant Hill section was missed off due to the weather although tour description did not make it clear that it involved trekking up the hillside. We would not have booked this if we had realised the latter was involved.

Recommended but 6 hours needed for the tour. - The Baoan Temple lives up to its World Heritage status. Such beautiful and meaningful architecture. Other parts of the tour was really touch and go. Could be due to the fact that our pick-up and drop-off point was in New Taipei City, where much time was lost commuting. Suggest 6 hours starting at 4.30 pm is more decent time to cover the itinerary.
