Do it! (But not without earbuds!) - This is a very informative tour and we learned a great deal about the history of Deadwood and its early inhabitants. It’s well-narrated and engrossing, with great information. Greg, the tour owner, is extremely responsive to questions via text. Once we figured out the WalkNTours app it was easy to use. Highly recommend the tour. There are some references to brothel activity and some violent killings of the day, so parents should be aware. Some previous commenters have dinged the tour as being difficult to hear. Deadwood is extremely loud with loads of noisy motorcycles and other vehicles. Don’t attempt to do this tour unless you have earbuds!!

Great self guided tour - a good way to start your visit to Deadwood - This self guided tour was well done and provided a great introduction into Deadwood, it’s history and colorful past. The tour was easy to navigate, and I was able to play it on my iPhone, and share the audio via AirPlay with my wife while we did the tour. Highly recommended - a great value for the money.

Deadwood - I couldn’t get the trip to down load to hear it on my apple phone so my husband tried to share pods and that didn’t work either. So we quit and left.

Deadwood nights and car show - We had no idea that we had arrived on a Deadwood nights and car show event. (Pretty funny actually) It was packed and it was difficult to maneuver and hear the tour. But, we did make the best of it and it was helpful. I definitely back up previous suggestions to use ear buds.

Vices galore - The history was interesting, but it is a noisy place (bricks for road). That made listening to the walking tour hard to do at times. We enjoyed the museum as it was very informative of the history of Deadwood.

Nobody was there to meet... - Nobody was there to meet us... to send us off. No one personally made it a point to greet us and give us a review of how this worked. Ended up leaving and not taking the tour at all. Should have booked a trolley tour. They had a guide.
