- Samsara - For a spa experience with a difference, a natural mud bath at L’eau Michel Mud Volcano in southern Trinidad should be your next destination. Unlike other mud volcanoes in Trinidad, the mud at L’eau Michel is semi solid and liquid enough for visitors to soak in. The mud flows out through active vents in a slow circular fashion over an area of approximately an acre. The mud here is not hot despite what the term ‘volcano’ might suggest. On the contrary, the mud is cool and smooth to the touch and so dense it keeps you a float.
Visitors frequent the volcano to picnic and enjoy the mud bath. This is usually followed by a short 30-minute hike to the southern coast to L’eau Michel Beach for a refreshing sea bath
A minimum 2 persons per booking is required Individuals who book for only one passenger will required to pay an extra 50 percent of the cost.
