Such a great day and family friendly! - I was very overwhelmed by all the choices of cruises available to choose from to explore the GBR and was recommended this tour by some locals. It was the best day had so much fun the staff were so friendly and approachable. I went with my family which also included a 2 year old toddler and they were so wonderful and accommodating to him. We saw turtles and baby reef sharks and had a huge area to snorkel in. The semi sub was so informative and a must do. Would def go again was a great tour and had such a good experience.

It was a nice way to see... - It was a nice way to see outer area of Reef! The crew are very nice and attentive. The small island was nice due to small number of people. There was a nice amount of different fish to see, some small sharks, stingers and some beautiful bright corals. The glass bottom boat could use a refresh! The lunch was delicious!

Brilliant day - We've been touring Australia for a month and this trip has been one of the highlights. We had an awesome day visiting this pristine island snorkeling. Although the visibility was not good we still enjoyed the experience. The staff were brilliant and went out of their way to make the day memorable. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour.

Great team but should have cancelled due to bad weather - The team is amazing, very nice and friendly. The boat is very big and confortable. The island is very beautiful. Unfortunately, the weather was very bad with rain, strong winds, and large choppy waves. The boat was shaking a lot during the trip. Motion sickness medication certainly helped. It took about half an hour to cross the open sea to the island, longer than we expected. Zero water visibiility at the island, could not do any snorkel and all water activities were cancelled. That meant nothing to do the whole morning. Lunch was ok, lots of food. The short walking tour around the island on the afternoon was nice, weather improved a little but the ocean was still too choppy to do anything else. Given these very poor weather and ocean conditions, which were already going on for a few days, I feel like the company should have offered the option to cancel in advance with a full refund. We did call in advance worried about the bad weather that was going during our stay, and the company still confirmed the tour. In the end, we did not have the full experience we paid for and I'm sure the company had all the information in advance to know. Perhaps after the fact they could have offered a partial refund or something to compensate? I really appreciate all the effort from the team to make our experience enjoyable despite all complications, but the whole tour was definately disappointing.

Frankland Island all day experience - Disappointed with this trip. part of it included a trip on a glass bottom boat. The visibility was poor which couldn't be helped but the glass on the bottom of the boat was so dirty nothing at all could be seen. It was a small boat and it was very hot down the bottom not one of the fans were on and several of the clients tried to turn the fans on to no avail There should be a warning prior to booking that there is a chance that you won't see any coral or marine life then you can guage whether it's worth going or not. For $229 pp we felt the price was way too high for the very limited experience. also whoever owns the operation could you put a sign at deeral jetty. We drove ourselves and had trouble finding the onboarding spot because of no sign. We said it to the staff and they replied they have been asking for one for ages. The crew are all very nice and helpful but otherwise 👎

Was let down - I'd booked this trip up several months in advance and were really looking forward to it. We were advised, nearer the time, of an 8 a.m. pick up from my hotel. We waited and waited. Eventually I contacted the operator via Viator, who advised me that they'd tried contacting me (not hard enough in my opinion) to advise me of a 07.05 pick up. I'd received no communication to that effect whatsoever. Thankfully, I received a full refund, but that's not really the point when you and your family are eagerly anticipating a great day out. Just be careful booking this through Viator.
