The Trip of a lifetime! - We had a wonderful experience on this trip for our honeymoon last month. Neither me or my wife had been on Safari before and we were blown away at such an amazing experience. Our driver Dinesh was early to greet us and was great throughout our trip, highlighting when we passed areas of note on the journey to the park.
On arrival, we were taken straight away on safari and we were not disappointed. Some fantastic scenes of the amazing elephants and other wildlife in the park. 3 hours flew by. Our driver was fantastic and always tried to get us some incredible up close views but was always careful to not be intrusive to them either.
On our return we were taken to have a nice lunch near the park before being taken to the Elephant Transit Home to see the orphaned elephants feeding which was another wonderful experience before our journey home.
One very tiny negative is just the time it takes to get to the park but it is well worth the journey. Going to one of the parks is a must if your in Sri Lanka for us and we had a wonderful time.

Perfect Service by Sam and his Drivers - I couldn’t be more impressed with Sam and his team at Bentota Travel Mart. I originally called him from the UK prior to departure. He arranged a tour of Udawalawe national park with an overnight stay and saw the orphan Elephants being fed in the morning. We then wanted to go to a tea plantation, a temple, galle, turtle hatchery and the stilt fisherman and a Bentota river trip Sam completely tailor made our itinerary rather than trying to fit it all in a day. We actually did it over 3 at the same price. It was my birthday when we did the river trip and the boat was decorated and a birthday cake organised.
He answers WhatsApp messages almost immediately. We are coming back to Sri Lanka for Christmas and will be using Sam again

All good! - Really nice! Everything was as advertised, we've seen more than a dozen elephants, deer, peacocks, crocodiles and more :) The transport to and from the hotel was very pleasant and i really enjoyed the lunch (especially the papadam). One thing I'd recommend to keep in mind is that the safari is quite long, so do get some rest before it!

Incredible day at Udawalawe - What an amazing day - being as close as you can get to wild elephants, having a riverside lunch below a canopy of monkeys and excellent guides (Pasidu, Dammika & Sampath) and service throughout the day. This was definitely one ticked off the bucket list - thanks team!

Amazing day - Had an amazing time at Udawalawe park for nearly 3.5 hours. Our Safari driver was great. He made sure we got to see all the animals possible including elephants family with a baby very closely.
Great tour overall from pick up to drop off.
Thanks to both drivers and BTM for wonderful service.

Fantastic Safari Experiance - Arranged this in Germany before departing to Sri Lanka. Sam was very easy to deal with. We planned few excursions with BTM and this was first one. It was an amazing day allaround with our driver Ishan who alway took care of us with very careful and skillful drivig. We saw lots of animals including crocodiles, deers, water buffolos, many birds and more than 20 elephants.Transiit home is perfect too

Udawalawe - Wow what an amazing trip and life experience! Everything was outstanding!!
Sam organised our twins 18th birthday trip to Udawalawe and went beyond and above to make their trip unforgettable. Sam communication was great, keeping me informed of everything organised and we could have not asked for a better day !
The fauna and flora in the park it’s extraordinary, photos cannot quite capture what you see and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.
We cannot praise enough how wonderful everyone was and that you made our day so so very special! ( P. S. My husband wants me to mention the Toyota truck used for safari , he absolutely loved it and indeed was very comfortable)

Highly recommend this great day out! - This was a great experience from the off. Our last minute booking was confirmed quickly with concise details on the following days safari.
Dinesh, our driver, picked us up from the hotel at 4am and drove us to the National park. He was courteous and chatted about various sights along the way.
On arrival we were greeted by our jeep safari driver, Lahiro and picked up our guide, Mahesh, as we entered the park.
The whole experience was fantastic. We saw a herd of elephants almost immediately. Mahesh helped to identify different species of birds and we were lucky enough to spot more elephants, crocodiles, water buffalo to name just a few.
Lunch was included at a local restaurant. On the way back we stopped at the Elephant Transit Home to watch the orphaned young elephants being fed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would highly recommend! Thank you Bentota Travel Mart and your fabulous team.

Beautiful safari - 3 hours of safari in an extraordinary environment. We saw beautiful birds and lots of elephants. Our driver was very attentive and informed us about the various animals we encountered.

Very disappointed - Not the greatest experience, not a lot there, I know you can't expect animals to come out just because you want them to but it was a long trip to see 2deer a couple of elephant and some birds. If you can go to yala instead. The elephant sanctuary is worth the trip
