Yala from Beruwala - Had a great experience with BTM, contacted them via their web page, quick response and very helpful. Booked trip to Yala and from the booking to return to hotel everything was great. Clear details provided, name of driver , car details provided evening before, Driver to Yala was great, lunch was much better than expected, 3 courses with choices, i went for the Sri Lankan curry which was very good. Yala was amazing, our safari driver was very good and we were lucky enough to see a leopard, and the elephants having fun at the watering hole was a great experience. Would highly recommend.

Great day in yala - Great safari. Our guide was brilliant. Saw lots- elephants, buffalo, loads of crocs and birds. Really lucky to see a leopard. The park was quiet only 5 jeeps around when the leopard was spotted. Our driver was fantastic at getting us the best spot to see the animals. The whole day from start to finish was brilliant. From the driver , Dinesh, to the lunch/coffee stop. Well worth the long drive and early (4.30!) start. 🐆🐆🐘🐘

Great Tour!! - Cannot recommend BTM more highly. Professional, reliable and helpful. Communication is very easy with Sam himself via WhatsApp at almost anytime! It’s a big day but the park is alive with wildlife…..we were even lucky enough to see a leopard!!!

Great trip - The driver was very helpful. Early pick up was worth it to get to the park early. Good liaison before the trip. The national park is very worth seeing. Good variety of animals seen. Mongoose, large crocodiles, water buffalo, exotic birds, elephants, warthogs, monkeys, deer. No Leopard but that was ok. The park was not too busy. Nice meal afterwards. We felt well looked after.

Amazing wild nature meeting - The Yala National Park trip was great! Bentota travel Mart prepared the tailor made excursion for our family. Our driver Amila was very helpful and supported us if we needed anything. Also our Yala guide - Sudda tried very hard to shaw us as many animals as possible. We’ve seen most of the park habitats. We were first who saw elephants those day and there were just us! Nobody more! I recommend the Benota Travel Mart! Thank you Guys!

Easy to book & well looked after by driver. Saw more animals than we had anticipated - Really exciting day trip out from Bentota & even the drive there was inciteful. Our driver was so friendly & informative pointing out interesting sights & banana & tea plantations & palm oil trees. Great lunch stop off before being picked up by jeep from restaurant. We were lucky on our safari to see a leopard up a tree across the lagoon elephant family huge crocodile amazing birds plus much more. Very comfortable drive back in air conditioned car. Will definately book more trips through Bentota travel next time we are in the area. Thank you!@

Gladly again! - Actually, everything went wonderfully on the day trip, the journey there and back were problem-free, there was an excellent lunch, the tour and jeep driver were extremely friendly and committed! Unfortunately, all the leopards had the day off! What is a bit strange is the number of jeeps, around 260, which unfortunately do not all follow the park rules! Overall, a lasting experience!

One full day of great experiences - One amazing day. Both drivers was great, both in Yala and transfer from Bentota. We left Bentota around 10am and was back 9pm. Perfect for us. Just before the safari we had a tasty lunch. No stress from the drivers. The safari was so cool we saw alot of different animals like elephants (including babies), buffalos, peacock, dear, crocodile, moneys etc. But no luck with the leopard. The ride is bumpy but that is expected. Had a bathroom break after ~2,5h

Yala excursion - We took this trip from Ahungalla. The distance was far, but taxi provided was fine. Then we arrived at the restaurant to start the tour. The "Safari" vehicle was an old Ute with seats on the back, and covered. But the vehicle was old, and not at all comfortable. We went into Yala, and found sadly neglected roads. Sightings were a couple of elephants, some "buffalo" in the water, plenty of peacocks, a couple of "Bambi" deer and a mongoose. Then the driver decided to start a race to nowhere. The roads being bumpy provided no possibility of any exhilaration. Quite frankly, the Yala reserve is best passed on. Not worth the trip, and certainly not worth the rough ride. Cost was AU$600 for two of us. Madness.
