A safe and memorable trek with experienced team and management. Trek planning was top notch. - I went to Har Ki Dun trek with Himalaya shelter in first week of March and services provided to us were amazing. We had a customized itinerary for our closed group in which Himalaya shelter is leader of trekking industry. They provided us 'The North Face' tent which I don't think is provided by anyone else in India. And we also got an extra layer in sleeping bag which was great of a help to cope up with cold for first timers as camping site was on thick layer of snow. Food provided to us was per our choices and expectations, and local Himalayan cuisine was cherry on top. On safety, I would say Himalaya shelter ticks all the boxes which are required to do a safe and nice trek in Himalayas. Their ground team is experienced with all the safety protocols and certified from premier institutes. I will choose Himalayashelter for all my future treks and would recommend the same to anyone who is looking for a nice experience and for the worth of money.

Experiencing the Valley of Shiva - My husband and I went to the Har Ki Dun Trek this winter with Himalaya SHelter. We had a great time in the trek. Everyone from Himalaya SHelter team was helpful and food was so good. They also accommodated our special diet request. WE were a small team of people of diverse background and had a good experience. The tents & sleeping bags were comfortable and they helped us camp in places which would be convenient .The team also accommodated our request to stay at Osla village the last day to experience the village culture there. We enjoyed our stay at Osla village as well and got a glimpse of the life there. Admire the village people who are so simple and follow sustainability practices truly . And ofcourse the amazing physical fitness of both men and women there. On the whole Himalaya SHelter is a small company but they are all from the Uttarakhand region and respect the nature and understand the value of the same following practices that will not destroy the nature during these treks. I hope they continue doing the same as they grow bigger.

Har Ki Dun done - I would recommend this trek. The long journey from Dehradun is rewarded with a beautiful walk along a remote valley with views to snow capped mountains and glaciers. There was also an opportunity to see the local villagers preparing for winter. The trekking was moderately easy, with just one harder day. Our guide Sonu, support crew and food were all excellent. I was trekking with a friend from Australia. Our fellow trekkers came from across India and made great company.
