Excellent museum - Five out of five - friendly staff from the start to the exit. Had a great chat with a lady who explained how the royal family’s dinner service was decorated.

Blue Delft tour and tea rooms - excellent - We had a trip here when on an international meeting in Delft so about 18 of us, all different nationalities. We had a private tour guide in english. The tour of the building. museum and factory was excellent - very informative and lots to see. There is a good shop. Do have the afternoon tea - it is amazing. Huge amounts of sweet and savoury food with plenty of tea too. Highly recommended as a must do if you are Delft. Delft is only 30 minutes on train from Schipol airport.

Entertaining and exciting - It was a lot of fun walking through the museum/factory. Beautiful exhibits, especially the pictures I liked. 15 Euro admission I also found fine.

Good Mix of History and Production - I visited first thing in the morning on a Thursday at the end of November. I was surprised there were only 2 other visitors as it was market day in Delft. Regardless, the information presented about the history of the trade and the production details is interesting. There are lots of little films throughout the way to show you in detail how things are done. This is is good and I'm glad I didn't skip over these little films because the factory portion of the tour only showed the painting of a vase and not the actual molds/firing/etc. The location is great because it's only about a ten or fifteen minute walk along a lovely canal from the train station. You can then backtrack to visit the city center. Not only are these walking routes short, but they are very scenic. My grandma gave me some pieces so I was interested in visiting this place, but if you aren't interested in decorative arts or pottery, this might not be your jam.

Rushed through museum to get to gift shop - Went while on a Viking ship tour. We only had one hour and the guide showed us the factory area but only two people were working. The painter seemed completely uninterested in talking to us. When we left the factory Area, we entered the exhibit areas and were rushed right through to the gift shop. The docent never even suggested the displays and lovely exhibits with videos. Then poof he was gone.

Not recommended - I cancelled it several times, which was ignored. Amount was still debited. It's impossible, it's not customer-friendly.
