India Gate - India Gate

India Gate is a renowned memorial located in Delhi, built to honor Indian soldiers who lost their lives in the Afghan wars and World War I. It is a major tourist attraction where the names of the martyred soldiers are inscribed.

Humayun’s Tomb - Humayun’s tomb was constructed between 1562 and 1570. It was commissioned by Bega Begum, the first wife of Mughal Emperor Humayun. This tomb, designed by Persian architect Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, is situated near Nizamuddin Auliya Chishti. In 1993, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is considered the first garden-tomb in India.

Lotus Temple - The Lotus Temple is a prominent Bahai house of worship, known for its lotus flower-like shape. The temple is open to people of all religions and castes.

Qutub Minar - Qutub Minar was built by Qutb-ud-din Aibak in 1193 and stands 73 meters tall. Known as the Tower of Victory, this monument is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The minar is adorned with beautiful verses from the holy Quran and intricate carvings on red sandstone.

Red Fort - Red Fort (Lal Quila)

“Lal Quila” is considered one of the architectural marvels. Named after its red sandstone walls, it was constructed in 1638. The Red Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is celebrated annually.

Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - Jama Masjid

Jama Masjid, also known as Masjid I Jahan-Numa, is one of the most famous mosques in India. This stunning monument features two 40-meter high minarets, three gates, and four towers made of red sandstone and white marble. It can accommodate around 25,000 people for prayer at a time. Built between 1650 and 1656, it is a great example of Mughal architecture.
