Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Empress Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal captivates and humbles visitors with its grandeur. It is a testament to the eternal love story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal, taking twenty-two years to complete. Following this, the tour will proceed to the Red Fort.
• Agra Fort - Constructed from red sandstone with massive double walls, the fort was initially conquered by the first Mughal Emperor Babur and his son Humayun. Later, it was redesigned by Akbar the Great in 1565 AD. The Red Fort of Agra, along with Delhi’s, witnessed the Mughal Empire’s rise and fall. From Akbar the Great to his grandson Shah Jahan, the fifth Mughal Emperor, all contributed to the fort’s blend of Hindu and Persian architecture. The fort features captivating palaces and elegant gardens and once served as a gilded prison for Shah Jahan.
• New Delhi - After exploring Agra, guests will be transferred to the railway station for a train to Delhi. Upon arrival at the Delhi railway station, our driver will ensure a smooth drop-off at the desired location in Delhi NCR.
