Sar Pass Trek - You will reach Kasol in the morning, You can check in to your camps/hotels and freshen up. Camping at Kheerganga can be a wonderful and serene experience with spectacular views. Here you can head out to visit the local places, their culture and can shop & at a flea market. Get ready in the evening to visit Gurudwara Shri Manikaran Sahib. After coming back, we will enjoy snacks, and dinner and relax by sitting near a bonfire while hearing some light music.

Kheer Ganga, situated at a height of 2950 meters, sits at the farthest end of the Parvati valley and represents the final inhabited location on the trail towards the Pin valley through the Pin-Parvati Pass. The expansive skies and lush green landscapes of Kheerganga offer a soothing spectacle for hikers’ vision and provide relief to weary limbs. Renowned for its sanctity, Kheerganga boasts a thermal spring, a diminutive temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, along with a ceremonial bathing pool. Setting up camp in Kheerganga can prove to be an exceptionally peaceful encounter, enhanced by breathtaking scenery.

History of Kheerganga:

A legend narrates that Lord Shiva—or perhaps his progeny Kartik—retreated to Kheerganga where he is believed to have engaged in deep meditation over millennia. The nomenclature ‘Kheerganga’ or ‘Kheer Ganga’ translates to a river as pellucid as ‘Kheer,’ an Indian dessert concocted from milk and rice, referencing the purity and milky color of the holy Ganges River.
