A must tour - Santander was a great guide because he gave us as much as was possible, an immersive experience during the slum tour so that we were interacting with our surroundings rather than just observing and looking on.

A must-see in Delhi - Our Guide, so kind and professional, allowed us to discover another city in the heart of Delhi and live a morning of exceptional exchanges with its inhabitants.
Without a camera and safely, we took time to sit, discuss and understand their lives and strengths in this community.

A differently surprising tour - This is not an usual touristic trip, this is an experience where you can touch vividly how this people lives in Delhi. I appreciate the ethical way of this purpose, talking with childs and people, breathe the atmosphere, drink a chai with them! Highly recomended

Memorable tour of the Slums. - Santan provides a fantastic tour of the slums. He provides a very personal experience into a place like no other. The kids, the appreciation of how the slum operates, the attitude of people provided one of our most significant memories of India. Highly recommend.

Zakhira tour - Santan was a wonderful guide through the Zakhira slum area. We felt very comfortable with him leading us through the alleys of the area. It is important for me to show respect to the people living in these areas and it was clear that this was of utmost importance to Santan as well. He provided great information about the area, the people living there and their daily life activities. I would recommend Santan’s tour to anyone interested in seeing another side of Delhi. This is not a “fun” tour but an important informative eye opening experience.

Brilliant - One of the most moving and fascinating tours we have ever taken around the world. I went with my 10 year old son and it was a real eye opener.
We met the most beautiful, welcoming, friendly souls in the "slum"
Our guide was very informative and respectful

A deeply meaningful morning - We easily met Santan at the agreed time and he organised a short rickshaw ride to the area we were visiting. As we entered, it was clear Santan has a lovely relationship with the people who live there and it was a chatting to the community type tour. We felt very welcomed and we were offered delicious chai and henna painting on our hand. We particularly enjoyed meeting the people of the community and to see the smiles on the kids faces were everything. It was also very sweet to talk to the children and hear their names - we took along plenty of sweets and handed them out (they particularly liked lollipops!). Note there is also lots of shops / stalls within the area that you can buy from and give out. It was good to hear from Santan how money from the tour is reinvested back into helping members of the community - he is clearly a very kind and selfless individual. Even though it was a very hot day (in the 40s) most of the areas were in the shade, so don’t let warm weather put you off. If you would like an alternative experience from the ‘tourist traps’ and are open and respectful of how other people live, I would 100% recommend.

Friendly Host but Underwhelming Tour Experience - We recently went on a slum tour and had a mixed experience. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and their English was excellent, which made the tour easy to follow. However, the pace was quite slow, and we didn't cover much ground, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a decent experience for the price, but I wouldn't recommend it.
