OLD DELHI - The tour of Old Delhi includes visits to Raj Ghat, the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, and Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. The heart of Old Delhi is around Chandni Chowk, one of India’s oldest and busiest market areas. Exploring this area fully would take days, but a traditional cycle-rickshaw ride offers a great way to experience its vibrant atmosphere and array of sights and sounds.

NEW DELHI - The extensive tour of New Delhi includes visits to Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, and the President’s Residence, ending with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. In the evening, witness the Sound and Light Show at the Red Fort, also known as ‘Lal Quilla,’ which showcases Mughal architectural brilliance. The 17th-century historical events come alive in the evenings at the fort with the Son-Et-Lumiere show. The Red Fort can be entered from both the Lahore and Delhi gates, with the Lahore gate being the principal gate connecting the Red Fort and the bustling Chatta Chawk Bazaar (except Monday). Delhi to Shimla

Manali - After breakfast, proceed for a full day of local sightseeing in Manali, including Hadimba Temple, Tibetan Monastery, Lord Buddha and Tankha paintings, Vashistha Temple for “Hot & Cold water Kund,” and Club House. The evening is free for leisure, and you can explore Mall Road for shopping. Return to the hotel for dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.

Manali - Full day tour of Rohtang Pass (AT OWN COST) – Witness the majesty of the mountains and glaciers at their best; you have two hours to enjoy this snowy haven. Take a sledge ride down the slopes or try climbing the little snow hills. On your descent to Manali, stop at Rahalla Falls and Solang Valley. The magnificent views and natural beauty are a never-ending source of delight. Also, stop at Marhi, Rahalla Falls, and Nehru Kund. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Manali to Dharamsala

Dharamsala - After breakfast, drive to Dharamshala. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Later, visit Baijnath, the oldest existing Shiva temple in the country, War Memorial, Kangra Art Museum, Dal Lake, McLeodganj, St. John’s Church, etc. Overnight at the hotel.

Dharamsala to Dalhousie

Khajjiar - Dalhousie is named after the British Governor-General of the 19th century, Lord Dalhousie. Surrounded by varied vegetation, pines, deodars, oaks, and flowering rhododendrons. Local sightseeing of Dalhousie includes visits to Panjipula, Subhash Baoli, and an excursion to Khajjiar, 24 Kms from Dalhousie, surrounded by thick Deodar forest. Dalhousie to Amritsar

Amritsar - After breakfast, check out from Dalhousie and proceed to Amritsar by road. On arrival, check in at the hotel and later visit the Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch the Flag Retreat Ceremony. Wagah, an army outpost on the Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar, is known for the evening “Beating the Retreat” ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, lowering their respective national flags. As the sun sets, nationalistic fervor rises, and lights are switched on, marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Amritsar.

Amritsar to Chandigarh

Chandigarh - After breakfast, drive to Chandigarh (6 hrs). Check in at the hotel. After freshening up, proceed for local sightseeing, including Rock Garden, Rose Garden, and Pinjore Garden. Overnight at the hotel.

Chandigarh to Delhi

New Delhi - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Delhi by road. Drop off at the airport or railway station.
