Meet your official guide and commence your tour. What an unforgettable trip! - The guide on the trip there was fun and knowledgeable. The tour guide at Dephi was able to tell us even more and help us make the most of our time.

Wonderful small group tour. - Love the small group experience. Both the guide on the bus and the guide at Delphi were great. Delphi itself is stunning. Lunch with the group was delicious.

Take this tour - Great tour. Guide Lilli was wonderful. Archaeology of Delphi was amazing. Saw everything. She even walked us through the menu at the tavern we stoped at. If you are interested in seeing some Greek countryside and archaeology outside Athens, take this tour.Memorable!

Do this tour! - Our tour van picked us up on time and our guide Theodore welcomed us warmly. We really enjoyed the drive to Delphi which included views of lush green hills, farms, livestock grazing, mountains, and more. Theodore shared interesting facts, asked fun questions, and made the drive easy and entertaining. He and our driver also made sure we had a break to stretch and use the restroom mid-way. We also stopped to take in breathtaking views of the mountains in Arachova before driving to the Temple of Apollo and the Oracle ruins and museum. Theodore handed us over to another amazing and very wise guide (Marila) who took us through the museum sharing lots of information and answering all the questions we had about the history shared through amazing artifacts. Once complete in the museum, we walked over to the actual site and our guide explained more of the history. She was caring and pleasant, we truly felt cared for and enriched. Marila set us off on our own to explore the upper areas before we were told to meet to again board the van. It was mid-afternoon at this time and Theodore and our driver drove us to Theodorakis, for a late lunch. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and guided to the back of the restaurant to a large table with breathtaking views. Theodore sat in the middle of the table inviting everyone into conversation. It was a most lovely dining experience with lots of sharing and laughter. A very special time. The ride home was filled with conversations and some people napping after the great meal. I highly recommend this trip. The small group, excellent facilitation from Theodore, and the valuable tour from Marila made it one of the best tours during our travels.

Amazing experience with Georgia and Pericles - We loved this tour. Georgia, our guide for the bus ride was absolutely phenomenal and did a great job balancing history and entertainment. She was knowledgeable and funny and definitely has a bright future in anything she wants to do. She made this trip amazing for us and we wished she could’ve been our guide throughout the museum as well. Our driver Pericles (I am so sorry I almost definitely spelled that wrong) was also fantastic. Please pass this on to them as they were truly spectacular 😁

It was an amazing and worthwhile trip. - The driver was pleasant and a very good driver with the pick up and drop off close to our hotel. The Delphi area is a beautiful and amazing area to visit. Although our tour guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable we had difficulty understanding him due to his accent. Georgia was informative. The restaurant for lunch was so beautiful and the food delicious.

Good tour, not small group as advertised - Temple of Apollo at Delphi was interesting. The museum was well done. Our guide during the trip, Illiana, was very good as was the guide at Delphi. Lunch stop in Delphi at a taverna was also very good. Makes for a pretty. ong day, but glad we didi it. The description of the "Small Group Tour" stated there would be <10 people, but our tour had 18 people (not including the guide and driver) and.our Sprinter van was completely full. We booked based on the assumption it was 10 or fewer, not sure we would have spent the extra money for small group tour if we had know it would be 2x as many people as advertised. Tour operator states the 10 is a typo, but would bet they don't fix the typo which is false advertising.

Long Drive to Delphi - The guide , Georgia, on the drive to and from Delphi was very entertaining and provided a lot of information and kept us engaged. At the site, the guide Theodore, did seem to provide lot of information and explanations, but he had such a heavy accent that his English was impossible to follow. Most of us on the tour just gave up after a while. Also, the drive each way is about 3 hours and we spent about 11.45 am to 2 pm at Delphi, then till 3.30 pm at lunch before the 3 hour drive back. That is a lot of time on the road for such a short trip. Better option would be to rent a car at Athens and drive down so that one can spend as long as needed at the sites.

Description underestimates travel time - Too much of the day was spent getting to and from Delphi. Traffic cannot be an excuse, it should be factored in and the travel time should be appropriately described in the advertisement, but this was not the case. The description shows a 9 hour excursion starting at 8:00 am, which means a return by 5:00 pm. But we were not back until 7:00. The possibility of the trip taking longer should be in the description.
