- Kekova Island - Kekova Sunken City\nHistorical studies indicate that Kekova Island was once connected to the mainland and hosted a significant urban center. Over time, devastating earthquakes caused much of the city to sink, while the remaining portion became an island.\nWe will collect you from your accommodation between 7:30 and 8:30 AM, and proceed to Demre. Upon arrival in Demre, our first activity is a boat tour of the Kekova Sunken City. The tour is set to commence around 10:00 AM and will span roughly two hours.\n- Church of St. Nicholas - Embark on a journey to one of Anatolia’s most enchanting regions to explore the ancient city of Myra, renowned for its striking Lycian rock tombs. Discover the old amphitheater and the Church of St. Nicholas, which honors the virtuous figure who inspired the legend of Santa Claus.\n- Myra Antik Kenti - Myra Ancient Lycian City\nThe Ancient City of Myra, situated a short distance from the Church of St. Nicholas, was christened by the Lycians as the “Land of the Sun”.\nIn Myra, the Land of the Sun, you’ll encounter the age-old Lycian tombs, part of a necropolis, and be immersed in the historical ambiance. These tombs trace back to the 4th century BC.\nFollowing our visit to the church of St. Nicholas, we’ll dine at a local eatery. After a 45-minute lunch interval, we’ll proceed to the Ancient City of Myra. Our guide will provide insightful commentary and allow you some leisure time. You’ll have about two hours to explore the Ancient City of Myra before we head back to Kemer. Your return to Kemer is scheduled for approximately 7:00 PM.
