• Puseh Batuan Temple - The Batuan Temple is regarded as the oldest temple on Bali Island. It features Balinese ornaments and a roof made from black coconut tree fiber. Strategically located on the main road connecting Denpasar to Ubud, Batuan has evolved over a thousand years into a village of artists and craftsmen, rich with old legends and mysterious stories. Built in 944 Isaka or 1020 AD, this nearly 1000-year-old temple is classified as a Puseh temple according to the “Tri Kahyangan or Tri Murti” concept, making it the oldest temple on Bali Island.

• Tegalalang Rice Terrace - Famous for its stunning rice paddies and the traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system known as subak, Tegallalang offers a breathtaking view that extends down to the rice terraces on the slopes across the valley. The cool and breezy high roadside location is a popular spot for tourists to take photos. Painters and nature lovers also frequent this area, and there are numerous art kiosks and cafes nearby.
