Join us to delve into authentic Balinese Indonesian recipes, featuring the vibrant and colorful spices of Indonesia in a 3-hour cooking session. We’ll use fresh plant-based ingredients and prepare everything from scratch.
During the class, you’ll learn the key steps in the Tempeh-making process. Tempeh, a superfood originating from Java, Indonesia, has been known since the 1600s. It’s a protein-rich and nutrient-dense food suitable for everyone.
Next, we’ll cook a delicious Balinese lunch in our open-air kitchen studio.
We’ll prepare various dishes using Tempeh, including the refreshing Sayur Urab, a vegetable dish made with greens, beans, and grilled grated coconut, along with other local recipes. We can also include chicken and tuna, or omit them for vegan participants.
Finally, we’ll enjoy our culinary creations by sharing seven delightful Balinese Indonesian dishes in the garden, surrounded by the cozy, family-like atmosphere of our home.
Tea, coffee, water, and light snacks are provided during the class.
