Tulamben is best known for the USAT Liberty shipwreck. The snorkeling site is outstanding due to its warm waters, varied aquatic life, and picturesque landscapes along with the coral reefs.
- Jalan Kubu - The snorkeling adventure in Tulamben is distinguished by the renowned USAT Liberty shipwreck, sunk by a torpedo in January 1942. The underwater realm also features man-made diving attractions, including Buddha statues.
The journey to Bali may take up to two and a half hours by car, but the picturesque views along the way make it a worthwhile trip, perfect for a full-day snorkeling excursion for individuals or families.
The day kicks off with an orientation at the dive center, followed by fitting the snorkeling equipment. Shortly thereafter, we set off on our road trip to Tulamben.
Upon arrival in Tulamben, we’ll explore two or three celebrated snorkeling spots, starting with the well-known shipwreck.
Each snorkeling session is planned to last around 45-60 minutes, with similar durations for breaks in between. Refreshments, snacks, and a meal will be provided during the breaks and after we finish snorkeling.
