Highlights
  • Denver - Starting from our location on 16th and Market Streets, we begin by heading toward Denver’s historic Lower Downtown or LoDo, as referred by the locals. The sights and smells from our breweries and restaurants are sure to tantalize as we snake past the ballpark and on to Cherry Creek Trail. Exhilaration and peacefulness combine as we zip along the babbling brooks of Cherry Creek. Next we’ll find Confluence Park, where the Platte River and Cherry Creek meet, this is also a perfect place to stop and take it all in. Get the cameras out because the wacky Denver Art Museum and the beautiful gold crowned State Capitol are along the way as we roll back toward the business district. You’ll be the envy of everyone as we glide through town, ending the tour (sadly, we know.) right back we started!

Our guide was awesome and... - Our guide was awesome and had great instructions. Unfortunately, it just wasn't a good fit for me. I've never been on a Segway and my nerves got the best of me.

Segway to fun - We love going on Segway to see great places to eat or another activity in a new city we are visiting. This ride did not disappoint. Good times!

Good experience but too high price - I liked it. It was my first time on a Segway so I would recommend. However, I believe the tour guide could have talked more and given us more information. Also, half an hour was spent training on the Segway which left us with one and a half hour touring the city on the Segways. For that I believe it should have cost somewhat less.

A great time ! - I enjoyed the whole tour , learned a thing or two about something’s I didn’t know, and seen some areas of downtown Denver that I have never see before and truthfully I think the tour could’ve been a little longer it was a great time to spend with my family

Segway tour in Denver. - Fun experience. Got to see a few things around Denver including Coors Field, who are you (from the outside). Lots of areas under construction, which made it less pleasant. Difficult to park.

Segway Fun - This was a fun experience that I would definitely do again. It was my first Segway tour. There was about a five minute learning curve. Once I got the hang of it, it was super easy. The tour was good. However, I think what would make this tour better is if we had seen more street art along the way.

Disappointing for various reasons - Our guide let us know he was going to be late. By the time we collected the segways and he could see we were experienced riders, which took two minutes, it was 2.30. Denver is not a city that has much to offer the tourist, especially as the only interesting area Rino, we didn’t get to see. We stopped about 7/8 times and Josh was fairly knowledgeable about what we saw, it’s not his fault that there’s not much to see. But I think the whole tour needs a rethink as we were back by 3.40, a total of about 75 minutes.

This Tour needs Help - This was our 30th city to ride Segways in and it was our worst by far. For starters as boring as it is, we always have to go through the instructional part just like the newbies. This time there was almost no instruction, get on and go. We had two first timers that didn't get the usual message about getting tires too close to curbs or other segways. Secondly there was very little information about the city. Usually we really learn a lot about the buildings and the city's history etc. You make your way 2--6 blocks very quickly and then stop and learn about that place. On this tour we did stop a couple of times at the start, but then it was careening through the city at top segway speed. I know it sounds slow but at 13 miles an hour and your governor starts pulling the handle bars back it's a disconcerting feeling. I was riding drag (the last rider of the group) and I saw it happen. The young teenage girl somehow lost control and crashed. 30 rides, 60-75 hours of being on segways and this was the first real accident I've seen. We had been riding top speed for several minutes. Should never have happened. She was pretty banged up and shook up and she and her mother walked away, leaving the guide to take off for 20 minutes hauling one of the segways back as we sat and waited. then the rest of the way he had to pull one behind him. We continued on with only two more stops and we went for miles. Almost no information in all this time. I can't really blame the guide, he should have had more training on giving training and giving tours. Most guides love their city and want you to love it too. He also went way out of his way to get us to our parking garage before an impending rain storm, making a longer day for him having to tie up one of the segways and then come all the way back to get it. Despite the poor quality of the tour we tipped him a lot just for keeping us from getting drenched or having to wait out the rain somewhere.

Scary, poorly planned instructional session - We were taken to a small filthy closet down in a parking garage to pick up equipment. The expectation was that of everyone already being competent to ride. Brief training on an exterior vehicle done in a small dirty room and up-and-down the fairly steep ramp of an underground garage. My spouse became increasingly frustrated and angry. We walked out rather than continuing something so poorly set up.
