Paul was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. Learning about beer and getting to experience different beers at the four different breweries was a lot of fun, as was meeting others on the tour. However, having moved to Denver in the past two years, we were disappointed in the lack of stories we heard along the way. No stories until we were between the second and third stops, and honestly, I think we only really got two or three stories on on the tour, and one was quickly pointing out Larimer Street as the oldest in town. None of what we heard were particularly insightful or unusual. As far as what's promoted compared to what we heard: * You’ll see how a failed geologist started a brewery that defined Denver’s beer culture [Don't remember this] * Explore Denver’s new Dairy Block [We walked through it to get to West Bound and Down, but I wouldn't say we explored it] * Visit a small outpost of a Colorado mountain brewery [Was this one of the four? Can't remember this being mentioned] * You’ll also get to know Denver’s best kept secrets. [Did we? What were they?] * You’ll walk through Denver’s original red light district [We did] * See Denver’s replica of the St. Mark’s basilica from Venice [I supposed we might've, but I don't think it was pointed out to us] * Hear about Denver’s outrageous grave robbers [Don't remember this] * And other seamy Denver history! [I'm not sure if this is supposed to be steamy or seedy...either way, not sure we got anything to check this one off] Before the tour, we were contemplating taking the RiNo district one as well. Perhaps we still will at some point....or just do a Google search of the art/history in the area and explore on our own while checking out the area breweries.

It was a really good tour. Great beers, great history. The only black mark is the fact that it started 20 minutes late because some Americans believed their time was more important than the 10 other people who were waiting on them. I’ll never recommend this tour to anyone because of that. It needs to start on time. We had other plans after the tour that were derailed because of the late start. Unacceptable.
