Join us on a magnificent day trip to Mount Blue Sky (formerly Mount Evans) from Denver. Just 60 miles west of Denver, the summit is reachable via the highest paved road in North America. At an elevation of 14,271 feet, it is one of the most notable peaks in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Encounter Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, mountain goats, marmots, birds, and alpine wildflowers, all while enjoying breathtaking views of distant mountain peaks, alpine lakes, and glacier valleys.
- The top five mile section of road to the Summit of Mount Evans is scheduled to be closed for the season on September 7, 2024 at Summit Lake.
- The lower section of the road will remain open until October 7, 2024 depending on weather conditions.
- Bring a warm jacket and dress in layers.
- No children under the age of 7. Private tours are recommended for families with children.
- You may experience altitude sickness. Avoid alcoholic beverages for 24 hours prior to departure time.
- Tour might be cancelled or modified due to the weather or road closures.
- No refunds will be issued due to weather or road closures.
- Minimum number of 4 passengers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.

A must visit if you are in the area - Started this morning at 7:45 for a drive up Mount Blue Sky (formerly Mt Evans), elevation 14130 at summit. Drive from home to the Mt. Goliath Natural Area (part of the Mt Blue Sky recreation area. Just kept climbing - the next few thousand feet of altitude gain offer expansive sites with views that just won't quit. Our stop at Summit Lake was shorter than planned as the main area was closed due to a medical emergenc, but we were able to snap some photos from a roadside stop next to the 13000' alpine lake. I spotted my first Marmot, and started seeing the goats. On our way back down we took a quick stop at Echo Lake for some leg stretching and gazing up at the beautiful high country we had just been in. Beautiful drive with gorgeous scenery.

Mount Evans and Red Rocks Tour - I truly enjoyed this tour in Denver. My partner booked at last minute and we didn’t regret it. Jason was very knowledgeable and explained everything very well. I would take the tour again!!!

Had an awesome day - Had a fantastic experience today. Harley was our tour guide. He expanded each everything about mount Evans and his energy was so good.
About the place, it is a heavy on earth. Such a beautiful place. Now it is a wonderful memory for me. I highly recommend everything one to see this place. Mind will be refreshed and recharged :)

Awesome tour - Our trip to Mount Evans and Red Rocks Park was awesome. Our tour guide Jason was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did a great job driving and giving us lots of history during the trip. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see amazing views and wildlife.

Riding with Harley - What a fantastic day! Got to spend my birthday with Harley. Our private 13 person tour was informative,fun,and relaxing. I highly recommend going on a sight seeing tour of the beautiful mountains. And of course ask for Harley he is a wealth of information and personal experiences.

Downtown Denver - I was really surprised at how lifeless downtown Denver was on a Thursday thru Saturday night on Labor Day weekend! Denver's downtown atmosphere wasn't appealing at all. Where are all the people and what are they doing on the last weekend of the summer???
