• Echo Lake Park - The Mount Evans Scenic Byway is a beautiful road near Denver with stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. There are excellent spots along the way for nature walks and panoramic views for miles.

• Mount Evans Scenic Byway - The Scenic Byway to Mount Blue Sky ascends over 7,000 feet in its 28-mile length, reaching an altitude of 14,130 feet. On this tour, we drive to 9,000 feet and stop at Echo Lake at the base of Mount Blue Sky. Idaho Springs serves as the starting point for the byway. This drive offers visitors scenic views of the Continental Divide. The Mount Blue Sky Recreation Area provides easy access to Colorado’s inspiring high mountain environment. Take a short walk around the Alpine Lake at Echo Lake Park. Overlook spectacular views of distant mountain peaks, alpine lakes, and glacier valleys! Walk among the oldest living organisms on earth!

Idaho Springs is a popular stop for those traveling on I-70, to and from the mountains. Although the town is known for its hot springs, Idaho Springs offers much more for adventure seekers.
