Highlights
  • Five Points - Once known as the “Harlem of the West”, Five Points is one of Denver’s oldest and most diverse neighborhoods. Before turning into the residential hotspot it is today, Five Points was filled with warehouses and art studios. - RiNo Art District - Nicknamed “RiNo,” the trendy River North Art District features contemporary art galleries and hip concert venues in revamped industrial buildings. Food halls include Denver Central Market and The Source, a buzzy indoor venue with eclectic products and a bar for small plates and craft beer. Known for its colorful murals, Upper Larimer Street also has cocktail lounges, brewpubs with patios and late-night food trucks. If people like we can have drinks or dinner depending on the group, but its not included in tour. - Dairy Block - Located in the heart of downtown Denver’s LoDo neighborhood, the vibrant Dairy Block micro-district is home to dozens of restaurants, bars and retailers, along with a modern co-working space and the independent Maven Hotel. Originally home to the historic Windsor Dairy, the award-winning Dairy Block is a renowned Mile High City destination for shopping, dining and drinking. Dairy Block hosts a robust schedule of community events in the pedestrian Alley – including local live music, art shows and makers markets – establishing it as a favorite Denver playground for tastemakers, fun seekers and seasoned regulars. - Denver Union Station - Our first stop will be at Union station. People can take a quick look at the inside of the station built in the late 1800’s but recently remodeled before we hit the road. - Colorado State Capitol - The Colorado State Capitol Building is the home of the Colorado General Assembly and the offices of the Governor of Colorado and Lieutenant Governor of Colorado. - Cherry Creek North - We will go to the river and ride on the bike path north to where the Platte River and Cherry Creek river meet and REI is located and some nice seating and viewing areas. - Larimer Square - The oldest commercial block in the city, the Larimer Square was originally laid out by William E Larimer in 1858. It served as the city’s main business area for years, but by the 1900s, it had deteriorated into a run-down area. In 1965, Larimer Square Associates began restoring it as a historical and commercial centre.[2] The initiative was started by John and Dana Crawford to commemorate the central planning of North America’s steel furnace thermostat - Cheesman Park - We will bike thru Cheeseman Park and the Denver Botanic Gardens that sit on land that once served as cemetery grounds inspiring many ghost stories.

Fun bike tour, hitting all the main spots - I went on Jeremy’s bike tour with a friend earlier this July. My friend and I had never really seen or explored most of the city of Denver as of yet, so this was the perfect way to do a deeper dive. I was very impressed by the tour Jeremy gave. He hit all the main spots and gave information about each location; very knowledgeable about the city. We enjoyed the variety of the tour- historical sites, museums, restaurants, parks, etc. It was a great way to get a more in depth look at the city and its various districts. He was also very accommodating with breaks and if you wanted more time at a location to explore a bit, it was no problem. 🙂 He catered the tour to what the group wanted. Plus water was provided! Which was great on that hot day. Overall I had a great experience and would definitely book with Jeremy again in the future for another tour. We had a blast. Julie

Fun Tour - Jeremy was great! Super nice guy. He adjusted the tour to meet our needs (earlier departure, shorter tour). Went with my parents who are in their early 70s—pretty mellow ride, would definitely recommend.

Great way to spend part of the day in Denver! - Tour guide was very accommodating! Typically people get picked up at a set list of hotels, but we had an Airbnb that was close enough to walk, so he let us leave from his apartment instead. The bikes were very nice and the route was great, including many points of interest, like Union Station, and different neighborhoods around the city. There was plenty of time to get off the bikes and explore inside some of the stops if desired. Host provided commentary and lots of interesting history. Our ride was about 3 hours and 12 miles, but the host did provide an option to take a shorter route if that would have worked better for us.

If you just want to ride a bike - We have been on bike tours all over the world. This one got us on bikes, and we rode around downtown Denver, but that was about it. The guide led the way, but did not tell us much about any area. He pointed out things as we were riding, but if you were not first in line after him, you couldn't hear what he said. He flirted with the 2 young women on the tour, did not give expectations or directions before we would leave a site, would cross at lights, when not all of us could get through the green light, the tour started late, (because the young women were late) and we got back early. I was just as happy to get back early, since it was a poor tour, but still . . . We enjoyed the tour of Rocky Mountain National Park the next day so much more, because she did all the things you expect from a tour guide -- she was very knowledgeable and a fount of information, she would prep us before we would move on to the next area and she would tell us her expectations before we got off the bus at a new site.
