Our day begins with a hotel pick-up at 09:30 am, followed by a tour of Derinkuyu Underground City - one of the largest and deepest subterranean settlements in Cappadocia. We’ll then journey to Ihlara Canyon and take a walk through this ‘mirage’ in the Steps of Anatolia, reaching Belisirma village, historically known as Peristrema or the ‘Valley of the Sky’ along the Melendiz River. Witness the array of churches carved out of rock filled with beautifully executed biblical depictions amidst the lush vegetation. We’ll have lunch at a local restaurant in Belisirma by the river before moving on to Selime - a village featuring cave dwellings and perched on the Canyon’s edge, its scenery is reminiscent of ‘STAR WARS’. The day concludes with a return to the hotel around 17:30 pm. Our tours run daily and last the full day.
