Wadi es-Sebua - Your tour guide will collect you from your hotel, Nile cruise, or even the airport in Aswan for an exciting day tour in this remarkable city. Begin with a visit to Wadi es-Sebua. The relocation of Nubian temples following the construction of the High Dam in Aswan during the 1960s by the Egyptian government led to the creation of the new Wadi El-Sebou site, situated just 4 km northwest of the original Wadi El-Sebou location. This site features several temples that were at risk of being submerged by the Nile, including the Wadi al-Sebou temple from the Ramesside period, dedicated to Amun Ra and Ra Hor-Akhty, the Greco-Roman temple in Dikka dedicated to the god Dhuti, and the Roman temple in Mahrekha dedicated to the gods Isis and Serapis. These temples were designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1979 as part of the Nubian monuments.

Unfinished Obelisk - Next, visit the Unfinished Obelisk, which illustrates the methods used by ancient Egyptians to carve obelisks. It is believed that this obelisk was intended for Queen Hatshepsut, a ruler of the 18th Dynasty and the royal wife of King Tuthmosis II. Queen Hatshepsut is also known for her temple on the eastern bank of Luxor. Some also speculate that the obelisk might belong to Queen Nefertiti.

Temple of Philae - The Philae monuments include numerous structures primarily from the Ptolemaic Period (332–30 BC). The most notable is a temple initiated by Ptolemy II Philadelphus (285–246 BC) and dedicated to Isis, the mother of Horus, the god of kingship. In the mammisi, or birth room, a scene depicts Isis nursing her son Horus in the marshes, celebrating his birth.
The temple of Isis was among the last ancient Egyptian temples to remain in use, continuing its function until the reign of Byzantine Emperor Justinian I (527–565 AD), who ordered the closure of all pagan temples. It was here that a priest of Isis named Esmet-Akhom inscribed the last known hieroglyphic inscription, dating to the late 4th century AD (394 AD). The temple was later converted into a Christian church, with many inscriptions intentionally defaced.
