Additional Information

The monastery’s architecture traces its lineage from Byzantine influences all the way to the present, with fresco painting being recognized as one of Europe’s premier artistic accomplishments of its era. The monastic treasures denote artistic prowess and spiritual gravity. Moreover, and arguably of primary importance, Serbian monasteries served chiefly as spaces of prayer. In contemporary times, while they maintain their religious function, they also symbolize a crucial segment of the Serbian legacy, national identity, and historical narrative. A day spent here acquaints you with the Serbian past, its culture, and the pristine beauty of its natural surroundings.

Beautiful and welcoming city - Beautiful and welcoming city, they have many gardens and beautiful places to visit. The temple of Saint Sava is an absolute must-see, visiting it was a unique and exciting experience, as is the parliament building. In the center in the evening there is always life, you can breathe art and culture.
