Highlights
- Crab Island - Our Coast Guard licensed captains will take you out to Crab Island from the Destin Harbor. They will drop anchor at the epicenter of all the fun and stay with you the entire time, giving you full access to a restroom, shade, your cooler and our crew. We’ll drop the ladder so you can easily jump into the waist-deep waters. SunVenture has assorted water toys available for guests. Paddleboards are available for rent on a first come, first serve basis. You’ll find a little bit of everything at Crab Island from various floating food vendors to people kayaking, snorkeling, paddleboarding or just relaxing on a float.
Additional Information
- All guests must check in 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
- Personal, small coolers and bags are allowed but must be stored under your seat. Alcohol may be brought onboard, but no glass please!
- Floats must be deflated when brought onboard.
- Smoking is not allowed onboard.
Crab Island is BYOB. You CANNOT purchase alcohol from SunVenture or any other third party vendor there.

Crab Island is a summer tradition for locals and visitors alike as the ultimate way to celebrate on the water but you can only get there by boat. Our crew will stay with you the entire time you’re enjoying the cool water and fun atmosphere making sure you have everything you need including a restroom and shade. After arriving at 314 Harbor Blvd., make your way down the Heron Harbor boardwalk and locate the SV Cruises kiosk. A crew member will be there to check you in and direct you to your boat. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the cruise start time allowing ample time for parking and check-in.

Fun in sun - Had a blast with Captain Justin and Patrick. They were very attentive to everyone. We had a blast with the floats and floating on the lily pad.

Fun time had by all - Guides were kind & helpful the entire trip. Assisted ppl getting up and down boat ladder. The Music mix they played was spot on. Water was perfect. Stand, walk around or relax on provided mat.

Crab Party - Was very Fun and Justin and his Mate where very nice and fun to be with. Did not care to much for the Jelly fish sting but that has nothing to do with how much fun we had. If you like to Parry this is the place to be.

Fun and relaxing - Captain Morgan is super friendly and makes sure you are having the best time. The jellyfish were there, but we still really enjoyed ourselves.

Captain Morgan and crew were outstanding even had some dolphins - The vibes and crew were outstanding took a ton of pictures well worth it got to see a ton of wildlife to include dolphins they had toys and floats vey normally have vendors at the sand bar so brig some cash fun fun fun

Great service! - SunVentures is 100% the best company we’ve gone on an excursion with in Destin, Florida. Captain Morgan and Gianna were FANTASTIC! Love crab island - My mom and I do the crab island excursion every year on vacation. Captain Morgan is the Best!! He's been on our boat the past 3 years we've gone. Definitely a must do if in the area.
