Great Time. - It was perfect weather for February… sunny and 75. We saw many dolphins because of the captain. He got them to follow our wake and race behind us. We also heard about history of Destin.

WORST DOLPHIN CRUISE I HAVE EVER TAKEN!! - Worst dolphin cruise I have ever taken. And I have gone on a lot. An older woman on the boat moved the boarding line away from the boat and told us to stand on a yellow line. She then called each group to board the boat and told us we had to have our picture taken before we could board the boat. My group told her we didn’t want our picture taken, and the woman said we had to—-“for safety reasons”, if we wanted to board the boat. We complied. The crew tried to sell the pictures to us once the cruise got under way, so obviously the required picture had nothing to do with safety. After an announcement by crew to let them know if they could do anything to make our trip more enjoyable, I politely asked if we could have reggae/island-type music played (they were playing rap and high school kid type music). I was told it was a radio station, but that reggae-type music would be played later. That never happened. Instead, we heard radio commercials and more rap music the entire trip—-interspersed with apparent paid-for commercials for local businesses, announced by someone on the boat. This ruined the relaxed mood which one normally encounters on dolphin cruises. “Fine”, I told myself. I will just ignore the racket and ads and enjoy the beautiful weather and the dolphin show once the boat gets up to speed. Unfortunately, the boat remained at trolling-speed the entire cruise. Because dolphins follow the boat wake and jump when the boat creates a big wake, not a single dolphin followed our boat or jumped out of the water. We did see several dolphin fins sticking out of the water, but no wake was ever created, so no dolphins ever jumped out of the water. I could have seen the same thing at an aquarium for less time and money. I was embarrassed to have talked up the cruise to my friends (none of whom had ever been on a dolphin cruise). What a waste of vacation time and money. Steer clear of this outfit and go with a reputable and professional company that actually cares about whether its passengers have an enjoyable cruise.
