Detroit's past and present - Dildora from Detroit tour company knows inside and out about Detroit. We were happy to hear this well-known motortown has almost been returning to its glorious past. We hear from her the mayor of the city, who is on his third term, has successfully solved homeless problem. Didora took us to see many historical buildings which have been converted into luxury hotels or appointments.

This is a must. - This tour was mind blowing. We learned so much about Detroit- the architecture, the history, the legends and the current population. The other couple on the tour was highly educated and asked wise questions.

Great Experience! - The tour was a good balance of the history of Detroit and current influential projects. It was wonderful to see how far some of the buildings have come over the years with mindful investments. Our guide Dildora was a wealth of knowledge and gave many wonderful recommendations on food and activities. Although we were given several opportunities for rest I suggest wearing good walking shoes and have your camera ready for the breath taking architecture and art pieces.

Don't Miss ! - Excellent information of several historical bldgs in the downtown core. Well paced tour. Our Guide was a delight and open to questions. We also were very lucky w the MI weather. Highly recommend. This tour is a Don't Miss!

Incredibly informative walking tour of a beautiful city - Take this tour! Dildora is amazing. She says that Detroit is her favorite city and it shows. We learned so much about the history of Detroit and its current renaissance. The buildings and other sights that she took us to were all beautiful and well worth visiting. After spending two hours with her, we love Detroit (and Dan Gilbert) almost as much as she does!

Art Deco Gems in Downtown Detroit - Dildora is a knowledgeable and lovely guide. I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and safe downtown Detroit was. It rivals Chicago and New York in terms of beauty (although maybe not in size). If Art Deco, decorative arts and in general art is your thing, you will love this tour. I loved also understanding how part of the turnaround of the city and Michigan was fueled by free education of disadvantaged minorities who have now become the educated majority. Respect abounds.
