The objective of this unique programme is to give the tea lovers all around the world the unique experience of producing their own tea from the tea plant to the cup.
The Lockhart tea factory is famous for its Orthodox Tea produced in the traditional way. The museum includes a living factory which was built in 1936 and a tea sales outlet and tea-tasting sections. The visitors are given a briefing about the origins of tea for consumption, its history & health benefits and explained about the traditional tea manufacturing processes.
