Amazing tour - This tour of Old Dhaka was amazing! A great memory I will treasure for a long time. We visited a lot of places and Bappi was flexible in what I wanted to do - he noticed I had an interest in unique buildings and added extra stops to explore. You learn about the history of Dhaka through the Mughal and British periods, the war of independence and modern Bangladesh through the sites. I’m vegetarian and Bappi found plenty of local foods for me to try. The best part is just taking in the ambience of the city going from place to place - sensory overload in a good way! Definitely recommend this tour

Amazing tour company A+++++ - Review of my Old Dhaka Tour with Nahid!
If you’re planning to explore Old Dhaka, I can’t recommend Nahid enough! From the moment the tour began, his professionalism and local expertise stood out. He has an incredible knowledge of the area and its rich history, and he made sure to include plenty of hidden gems that I would have never found on my own.
Nahid curated an amazing itinerary, taking me to the must-visit landmarks while also uncovering tucked-away spots that showcased the authentic charm of Old Dhaka. Also, we took a boat ride to Azan Manzil Palace 👌🏻
What made the experience even better was the food! Nahid made sure I had the best culinary experience, stopping every 2-3 hours at the most incredible local restaurants. Whether it was street food or classic dishes like biryani and kebabs, every bite was a highlight of the trip.
His attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and deep connection with the community made the day unforgettable. If you’re looking for an authentic and enriching Old Dhaka experience, Nahid is the guide you need! Also, he took all the time and did not rush. He also took me to local library to enjoy some quality time and good classical music at the end.
Highly recommend!

Amazing fun amidst the chaos of Dhaka - My guide, Bappi, was excellent. Transport around the city was by rickshaw and tuktuk. I got to see the real city and its best sights up close and immersed myself in the city for the day.

Arafat was a great guide - I enjoyed this day tour - the company and Arafat the guide went out of their way to make sure it was a great experience. Large & new air conditioned van, free water and snacks in the old city, and a very large local lunch that they covered. We went all around the city, Arafat gave great descriptions of all the culture and history in fluent English, and there was no rushing or cutting corners at all. I definitely recommend Bangladesh Scenic Tours for any foreigners who want to get a full local experience with competent guides and comfortable transport.

Unforgettable day on a path not often trodden by tourists! - I really cannot recommend this tour enough!! It was the absolute highlight of my visit to Dhaka - even though it was in the middle of a monsoon and rained all day! My visit was just a couple of weeks after the unrest and resulting change in government and, I was advised by the office that I needed to take some extra care but, I never felt unsafe and, everyone I encountered was absolutely welcoming. There is a lot of interest in seeing foreigners in old Dhaka but only because it is not a common sight. And, in many ways, knowing this made the day even more unique as it is not path over-run by tourists. Bappi is the ultimate host and, was excellent company. I hope to one day be able to bring my teenage daughters to also enjoy this incredibly unique experience and, I will also bring a long a proper camera! A special thank you to Bappi for this unforgettable day - and, for kindly holding the umbrella to try keep us a little dry!

Unexpected sweet surprise after the unrest - After the unrest and all of the negative media coverage, I had very low expectation for this 1-day trip in Dhaka. But it appeared to be a sweet surprise. First of all, Dhaka was very safe. People are super friendly to foreigners. Many street people asked my family for photo together. Secondly, although the city has very poor infrastructure, cost of everything was at 1-2 dollars range. The river cruise is a must-try because it will give you the strongest impression if Dhaka. You must also try the rickshaw in the chaotic street. Uber is not the right choice because the streets are narrow and filled with all sorts of rickshaws, pedestrians, and buses. The best way is to travel with a tour guide. Finally, Bali was definitely the best tour guide you can count on. He was very knowledgeable about every corner of the city and provided me a feeling of safety. He introduced us to his favorite dessert shop which was the night of our day trip. Make sure you plan plenty of time on the road because there highly unpredictable trafffic jam. We stayed at Le Meridien at the airport due to morning flight which proved to the right choice.

Old Dhaka - In the immediate aftermath of the riots and with the situation very concerning, he picked me up at the airport and showed me around the city in my preferred style. As a result, he was a Guide who fell in love with Bangladesh very much. I want to go to Bangkok with his Guide again!

Best authentic local experience - I was very pleased to take Old Dhaka tour with mr. Biswas from Dhaka Tours. In this 8 hours Tour you expect to see Old Dhaka as it is with all the history and heritage that extends from the Mongol age buildings to the contemporary architecture. You go in the serene Dhaka river in a wooden Boat and run between the huge ferries and witness the fishermen and traders along the two banks of the flowing river . Then you go through the old narrow streets of Dhaka with reckchaw to enjoy the authentic vibes of the local daily life and witness all the aspects of its charm and glamour.
Thanks to my professional Tour guide mr. Biswas who showed great knowledge of the city history and always gave hints and tips to enjoy this Crazy city to the limits. He didn’t spare any effort to make sure that i was satisfied and feeling comfortable. He kept giving me support until i reached the airport at the end of the day.
I recommend this tour to one who want to have genuine experience of this beautiful city.
