- Banglar Taj Mahal - The Tajmahal of Bengal is a scaled replica of the original Tajmahal, a Mughal mausoleum located in Agra.
- Goaldi Mosque - Continue to Goaldi Mosque, one of the few remaining medieval structures in Sonargaon. Built in 1519, this elegant, single-domed mosque is the most remarkable of the surviving monuments of the old capital city and a fine example of pre-Mughal architecture.
- Panam Nagar - Next, visit Panam Nagar, a unique township featuring a single street approximately 5 meters wide and 600 meters long. The urban street-front houses line both sides of this street, which leads to Panam Bazar. There are 52 houses in a state of disrepair, with 31 on the north side and 21 on the south. (This attraction is closed on Sundays.)
- Sonargaon Folk Art and Craft Museum - Explore the Folk Art Museum, situated on a scenic fifty-hectare site with stunning landscapes, tranquil artificial lakes, and ponds, along with the museum complex structures. (Closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.)
After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, board a wooden engine-driven boat for a cruise on the Meghna River. Witness local fishermen catching Hilsa fish and explore the remote island villages of Bangladesh’s widest river, accessible only by boat. Visit Nunertek Island in the middle of the river to experience the villagers’ activities and lifestyle.
After the village visit, return to Dhaka, with a drop-off at your hotel around 6 pm.
