A must do tour in Mount Olympus area! - This is a must do if you’re visiting the Mount Olympus area! We started with a tour of Platamon Castle, then a short hike in Mount Olympus to see the Bath of Zeus and the grandeur of the mountain range. Lastly, we visited the Dion Museum and Archeological Park which contain many interesting ancient artifacts. Most impressive was an altar where Alexander the Great worshipped before going on his campaign to Asia. Our tour guide, Alexandra, was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and answered all our questions, including other interesting information about Greek culture.
