• Vam Sat Eco-park is located in Ly Nhon ward of Can Gio district, in Ho Chi Minh city, approximately 30 kilometers south of Binh Khanh ferry terminal. The establishment of Vam Sat was a result of a reforestation project in Can Gio forest initiated by the Youth Volunteers Force in 1979.

• In 1999, the management and tourism operations of Vam Sat were given to Phu Tho Tourist (now known as Phu Tho Tourism Service Joint Stock Company) by Ho Chi Minh City.
