Memorable - Our half-day tour was hosted by James. Luckily, the tour plan includes a hotel pick-up since the Cu Chi tunnels are over an hour away from Ho Chi Mihn City. We were clearly communicated with via WhatsApp. During the long drive, James (our guide) filled the van with informative facts and entertaining questions. He had our attention the entire time, making the drive fly by. In consideration of the guests, the van makes a restroom and snack stop. Ladies (!!) make sure you bring toilet paper or grab some hand towels in the sink area before entering a toilet stall ~ there is NO TOILET PAPER. As for the tour? Be prepared if you are claustrophobic ~ you will be going through the tunnels. They're narrow. Also, they make a pit stop to the gun range where you can shoot a semi-automatic or machine gun. The fee for bullets is quite pricey. Overall, James was very transparent about the past and present lives of Vietnam. We learned a lot.
