Additional Information
The Communist guerrilla fighters, popularly known as Viet Cong, dug an extensive network of tunnels during the French occupation in the 1940s in order to protect themselves. This labyrinth of tunnels was hand-dug using basic tools, covering tens of thousands of miles and was further extended during the American War in the 1960s. Located 75 kilometers northwest of Ho Chi Minh city is one such elaborate network known as the Cu Chi tunnels. This network spreads across 250 km, consisting of tunnels and chambers, in the town of Cu Chi. The Viet Nam government has preserved this significant network of underground tunnels and it has now become a popular tourist destination.

Very Educational! - Tanh TV did such a great job of educating us on the daily life in the Cu Chi tunnels. He kept it interesting, finny, but also expressed the importance and severity of the site. Great option for those looking to learn more about life during the war in Vietnam.

Do not miss this. - Tim did an excellent job during the tour.
Sending a message prior to the tour to confirm place and time for pick up. His personal insight of the Vietnam’s history and the war during the journey to the tunnel was great. His guided tour of the tunnel was fun and respectful.
